Epik High have been in the game for a LONG time. They're one of the hip hop artists that paved a way for hip hop in Korea to become mainstream, back in like the early to mid 2000's. I'm such a fan and have so much respect for their front-runner, Tablo. He has so many achievements and accolades outside of the group and he's been through A LOT. He was a victim to the biggest case of Anti-fan hatred in South Korea to date. Over the wildest false allegation. You should look it up if you guys have time. It's wild. Would love if you guys listened to more of their music and show them some love!
Finally Epik High reactions! I feel like no one ever reacts to them! I've seen them 4 times in concert and they're amazing and have such a strong and badass stage presence. Been loving their music since 2008 so here's some recommendations; Love Love Love, One, Fly, Born Hater, Rosario, Hate Me (just to start cause there's so many) They are so respected by other kpop idols artists that they do a lot of collabs with them. Also fun fact: RM from BTS got into rapping when he heard their song, Fly (and they eventually collaborated a song together)
Epik High has earned every right to talk the real hip hop in Korea. Started from nothing, turning away every privilege they earned. They had to fight their way back into the stage for 23 years. They literally are spitting image of MCs, and even when they got popular, their album never stopped on talking about real stuff, where they are from, and what material they are. Antihero is a great arc, almost gives their 2007,2008 vibe but even more trendy! Epik High is also a role model of RM of BTS and many other music groups that are mainstream in Kpop today.
