I had a difficult earthy father and he was a pastor. It made me scared of God the Father. However, my father changed the last seven years of his life. He finally surrendered to Jesus. After that, he was just the best father I could’ve wished for. I was alone and pregnant and he welcomed me home with no words of condemnation or shame. That’s how I learned that I don’t have to be afraid of my Heavenly Father. It was a great gift to me.
Reminded I am not alone - The Lord’s Prayer. Jesus says, say what I say. I enjoy the prayer because Jesus invited me to pray how He prays - His Father is my Father. “You see me, you see My Father”. All things through Jesus unto God. ♥️✝️
The Source of my Life is in God my Father. I need to be thankful each day. And worship Him for His sustaining work in all creation under heaven.😊
The one on earth was my dad, Father to me means my holy sovereign God!!
Thank you

Our Father in Heaven
Thank you Lord
Such beautiful devotion ❤
Sinclair, you did say something I hadn’t thought of. Our Father, is Jesus’ Father. Oh, of course I know that, but, hearing you say it just now, brought up other scenes in my head. Like Jesus waking early to spend time with His Abba. What a wonderful relationship they have! I’d love something similar!
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:”
Colossians 1
Fine start, keep going. I mean that as your life unfolds the prayer goes even deeper. Forgive me my sins. Which is presupposing on my part but I am foremost a sinner and have no place to make such a comment to you. Everything you said is true. Thank you.
How could any Christian begrudge any part of God's word? If you do, you might question your salvation!
These are coming out of order 🤷🏻♀️
