I believe the reason for why you couldn't lunge was because when you turn and begin to lunge as 939, it will point your view in a different direction than your character is facing. So you won't see the prompt to lunge. (Therefore, you can't, and you will often get stuck at the worst times.) Anyways, awesome videos man!
