I would love to just not care. I just want to see the fights like everyone else. Way too much drama talking about promotional companies and purse bids, a side/b-side, and all these things that just don't matter.. put on good fights, let the contenders have a chance, make the Champions defend and keep it moving.

All the top rank fighters absolutely don't fight each other lol. Anderson Torrez, Teo Shakur ect. They hide their stars from each other to protect their investment.

Interesting take, there are problems with a one major league, the UFC model has its flaws. If Turk Alashikh wants to push fights like Inoue Davis, Canelo Carwford, Caelo Opetaia etc then there will be an issue with fights being forced that are unnecessary. Also too many networks for it to be under one league.
If they`re going to juice they should at least fight the best fighters.

He doesn't need to buy out all the promoters. Just buy out the contracts of the top 25 in each class and the rest will follow.
Imagine boxing having a ufc style promotion. All the big fights happen. Losses dont mean as much.

If I were Mufassa Al Mombak here is how I would do it.
Only key weightclasses: Heavy, LHW, Middle, Welter, LW
More 4 and 8 round fights. 10 rounds should be reserved for top contenders moving to title fights only. This allow more fights per card. Allows competitive matchmaking at the sub prospect level.
New titles by the league, completely eliminates the sanctioning bodies. Just as the UFC does with their belts.
Rankings by the league, no need for governing bodies at all. Rankings and titles are done in house.
Try to sign the best guys available for the few weightclasses you will offer. Round up some contenders, prospects and sub prospects to fill out your shows.

I don't think it's possible to turn boxing into the format of the UFC. There's too many external entities to buy outright because everyone would be asking for potential future earnings, and that's near impossible to calculate.
It has some positive effects, but I’m afraid of how it affects boxing in the long run for up and coming fighters.
How difficult will it be to get into this boxing league? How much more difficult will it be to succeed as a non American/British?

Wilder can't box but he had like 30 amateur fights and 42 pro fights, wilder could of honestly had 10-15 more developmental fights before being in the tittle scene, tyson,hearnes, both had long amateur careers and both had a lot of developmental fights against no names who helped develop the Fighters for the big names.......Haney,Tank,Shakur would of all had 35 fights by now if it was the 80s/90s........
We also have guys like loma-ussyk-zhang who actually spent a long time in the amateurs and came into the pros Tv/Ppv ready
No they aren’t rushed. They are fighting mismatches for years and then step up to another undefeated fighter who has taken no chances and then we find out they are both c level when the fight is terrible. the fighters, particularly American figjters are a lot more cowardly than they used to be. Tank, Shakur, Haney have had 0 fights that matter. Ryan is a steroid cheat. People bring Haney up like he’s brave but fighting old small Loma and underdog technically challenged Garcia after he was KO’d by fellow how job tank didn’t show guts. Teo is the only one with any guts that ain’t on roids or a weight bully. Fury waiting out Usyk for years and fighting wilder 3 times when no one wanted the third one and never fighting Joshua or giving Klitschko a rematch . PBC fighters taking countless meaningless fights no one wanted to see Spence c Porter Spence v both Garcia’s etc and the. Making the Corrie’s fight years too late. Thurman never fighting Spence or Crawford. Thurman getting wrecked by 90 year old Pac. Charlos losing to no names. Can also waiting until GGG was 35 and then getting a gift.
These guys are cowardly and/or not that good. The fans want the big fights so we can figure out who is the best. Now they just pad their records and then step up to another guy who has fought no one but is undefeated of course and we are supposed to believe they are great. I agree some of them could have stepped up their level of collection but if they did what you are saying they wouldn’t have a meaningful fight until they are 35-40, past their physical peak since they only fight once every 40 years. These guys are making big money fighting Uber drivers because the fans are so dumb they will pay for anything.
@@fsrsaa im not saying don't fight the big names, but look at Rolly, He only had 17 amateur fights before becoming pro, what if he had 40 developmental fights as a pro, before fighting for a belt? Rolly could of fought 10 straight up bums off untelevised, he could of had 10 more bums on tv, next 5 top 10 ranked guys......we would be Talking/looking at rollie very different if he was brought up that way....Guys use to damn near fight in the dark until they were TV/PPv ready........

People wanted an 18yo ryan to fight a 23yo tank. The best possible time for that fight to happen was when it happened and ryan argubaly should of had more fights

The Saudis can make some great match ups but they’re also not going to have the champion always fight the #1 ranked like many boxing fans would like it for it to happen. Some times the ranked #1 can be easily beat by the champion and be an uninteresting fighter. They also pumped a not if money on making a soccer league and hired talented soccer players like CR7 but still nobody talks about it. People complain about the excessive number of belts, now there will be one more. 4 belts + IBO+ Ring+ Saudi belt 🤦♂️.

It sucks having different promoters in boxing and different broadcast. They should make it a tournament like when they did the super 6. Or make it how they do in soccer in the champions league. Draw numbers to see who the next opponent will be make it manditory. Non of that catch weight bs non of that whos the a fighter and b fighter non of that oh the rings needs to be this size no rehydration rules non of that oh he doesn't sell enough tickects to have a sold out area or oh he's not an exciting fighter to watch so why fight him non of that oh were fighting on this broadcast network cause im contracted with them going back and fourth to deside which network will show the fight. One network and all major belts in each weight class go for grabs. winner takes all the belts and is the undisputed champion. Teofemo vs ryan garcia is a fight id want to see. Shakur vs tank. Pitbull vs tank rematch. Canelo vs benavides even though benavides doesnt have the foot work to beat canelo. Joshua vs parker. Joshua vs ruiz 3. Zhang vs ruiz. Tank vs loma. Tank vs teofemo. Lots of great fights that can happen. But dont cause of excuses by the fighters them selves and the promoters.
