Rejumps ARE really easy to do. Just need to get the feel for it. When it clicks, you can do it with muscle memory only. Granted, I have 1000+ hours in this game but this is fairly easy to learn with a guide in like half an hour.

In fact since both fighters are using an attack to *trade hits* that is why "Counter" will show up on both sides of the screen simultaneously. A trade differs from clashes as clashes cancel each other out. This nomenclature was established before 3v3. Its not hard to adapt. There is a difference however... In the timestamp P2 trades with a P1 Assist. Now if P2 had any assists called they stop what they are doing and blink offstage. It is true this is a trade but one that puts P2 at a disadvantage because P1's point is not committed to anything. P1 is free to pursue. A Traditional Trade is described briefly in the first 2 sentences of this post. Returning to this fact that a Trade is a double counter, not only would P2's assists disappear but P1's as well, both fighters would experience hit stun to some extent but you could never get two attacks with the same SMASHING properties to trade. Do trades happen? Rarely. I'm firm in that knowledge.

You are incredible, there is no doubt. But this serves to emphasise the one thing I don't like about this game, which is that when your opponent is on a combo spree you're nothing but a passenger. Would love to see at least one combo breaker, even if it's difficult to execute.
i didn't play the game, but i have some 2d fighting game experience with king of fighter , guilty gear etc. i do agree with you, even if some combos are hard to do , they do way too much damage for a single instance of damage on a parry mistake. They should put some combo breaker here, specially when in games like this you can do a 234634734 hit combo with 2 stands XD
