Appreciate seeing videos. They make me feel much better about my 28 handicap. I always worry about getting round the course hitting crummy shots. Seeing videos like this reminds me that even good golfers have bad games, makes me feel much better about just being bad lol
Lots of par 3s around or well over 200 yds...would have hurt many of us. You kept hanging in there which is most important thing and a big smile on your face as usual. Imagine playing when the wind is really up. I love the 18 hole videos on these unusual courses. Well done lads on breaking 160k golf mates.
Liam, that was a tough watch for what was suppose to be an easy course mate, and I couldn't believe those par3's, you deserve a medal just to get on those greens at all..🤔! Well played anyway, and hearing Joe sniggering in the background just summed it up..🤣🤣!! But that's yet another course with really stunning views.., it makes me quite jealous and green with envy..😢🤢👍👏
Love these 18 hole vids, Liam. That looked tough especially those 230 yard par 3s. I've been playing Cannock Park (slope 113 I think) and they would easily be par 4s (especially that first hole). If you want an easy one you should give it a go

Wonderful Liam, most people would rather golf at some tropical paradise, for me these Scottish courses are a golfing paradise. I don't know what it is, I think they are just more cerebral.
Great video Liam. Very tough par 3s! Be careful when dropping from a wrong green that you stay within the one club length relief area. On 17, it looked as though you were further away after your drop.
Yes I agree with others, the par 3's are tough ! but you did make them harder with your tee shots going right, good job you sorted them out, although I was nervous watching you tee off the 18th, that car was definitely in play !!
One of my new favorite Golf Mates Videos. Love listening to Liam talk to himself while playing. Playing the ball down and in the cup in front of a camera can’t be easy regardless of course difficulty. 200 yard plus par 3s are doubles for most of us.
Keep your right knee flexed in your backswing. Just like your wedge swings. That'll stop your "over the top, out the toe" contact. And hit your driver on as many holes as possible to make them easier. Another great video!
We all have those days, but I love the way you stayed positive and made some great saves. Could it be that because it was 'Easy' you golf brain said to your hands, "We don't need to worry about this; it's easy" and thus you lost concentration. I absolutely love these videos Liam, ironically they highlight your caddying abilities as much as your playing abilities. Don't be ashamed of your score there's no way that is the easiest course in the U.K. and remember your handicap score is your score on your best day.
Hi Liam , Carl from the Waterloo volunteer golf society we play that course on a Saturday after a drive up to Scotland as an easy starter for our week in may. Once you've played it in good weather it becomes easier ha ha 😂

Hey Liam you are a really good putter - but if you are constantly thinking before you hit about slickness of green and not knocking it way through then inevitable result will be ok racing putts short - you had at least 2 that were on line and just short. You will make 3 or 4 footers back having seen line all day long if you are a bit heavy handed.
These 18 hole videos are ace, love them. The par 3's are card wreckers, to come off with par on any of those then you need to be a seriously good golfer....... As usual you commentary makes me chuckle and you never lose your spirit or humour. Keep it up Liam, great work again 👏
1st hole at Bridge of Allan golf club is torture as well Liam, if playing 18 holes it’s the 10th many a time wanted to walk in after the 1st hole. Sure it was voted one of hardest holes in Scotland in bunkered magazine but might be making that up. Another great video thank you for keeping up these. Your sense of humour stayed with you till the end Liam, that course may well be 65 par but on the Old Standard Scratch I bet it would have been 68 or 69 on a regular basis, never mind taking into account the Wind factor....nevertheless a funny trip around the golf course as per.....well done
Liam, I’m from the US, and haven’t been across the pond (yet, and when I do it’ll be GolfMates Travel) so I know your courses are so much older than over here. But I think you did same as last time, you need to find a Par 70/71/72 with the lowest course rating, if this Par 65 has a rating that is “low” like 64, that would be like a par 72 being rated 71…that’s tough!! There’s a course near me, Par 72, course rating around 65…I can tell you there are ZERO 200yd+ Par 3’s (one is less than 100 some days), four or five Par 4’s you can go for the green…now THAT is easy. So, all I’m saying is, to find the ‘easiest course in the UK,’ you need to find a course that has a Course Rating that has the biggest difference between that and it’s Par…a Par 71 with a rating of 67 should be easier than a Par 68 with a rating of 66
Beautiful course. It's a course you need local knowledge. I would need to play it at least two or three times to score anything decent. I'm proud of you for trying. I'm sure Mr. B. Would have pared it, or double! Keep having fun.

Whiting Bay in Arran is an 18 hole course with a slope rating of 97 or 99 depending on the tees. It has no bunkers, goes straight up a hill, some tiny greens and it is where I started playing golf
Liam, I am a member at Winterfield. You obviously did not play to your normal standard, however you seriously underestimated the yardage to the holes. You cannot hit short of the greens and expect the ball to run on to the green at many of the holes. The greens are not easy to read and I would doubt very much it is the easiest course in the UK, mainly because there are 6 par threes that are roughly 200 yards long. Regards Golfmate John. I stayed right to the end. Didn’t look overly easy but the views were awesome and I think we’ll head over and play the course for the first time, in the next few weeks.

Lesson of the day: Golf is NEVER easy. EVER. One of my favorite courses, Missaukee GC: 68.2/114 par 71 in Lake City, MI. Am a 7 handicap and shot 80. Net +5 and I was mad as hell but i thought about score from the get go and thats exactly why I underperformed. Next time I played there, shot 76 net +0.7 because I swallowed my pride. Any one from Cadillac area Michigan should give it a try its overall pretty easy yes, but each hole has something that can catch you off guard, even if it's subtle. Great conditions, great deal, great people.
Good on you mate for having the courage to finish the round and letting us watch. You have had better days for sure. If it helps you today I was 3 for 12 on up and downs around the green :~(. Cheers you will get the course next time. When is the next time we see OMP, I hope he is doing well.

All courses are easy if you’re playing well the reverse can be said if you’re not ,I could imagine that course would be even tougher if the wind really got up,cracking little course well done mate.
Excellent vid, always entertaining , it looked a lot tougher than some , the length of the par 3s would of killed me, and as the guy said in the wind it will be quite a challenge .

Liam commented below but also enjoying these 18 hole videos. Yeah long tough par 3's there. Got one at local 210 or touch longer green is fair bit higher than the tee small green tough hole. But you had 4 or so that length. Need to get that hybrid going more I think
Another great 18 hole video and watching that how they can say thats the easiest course in Britain is beyond me especially when the par 3's are 220+ yds fair play to you as you say its real golf which you don't see on UA-cam that often
I think for me that is the type of course where you have a group of friends, three clubs and a putter in a Sunday bag and just have some fun in beautiful surroundings. At my age those long par 3’s are near par 5’s !

1st is a nightmare the rest are quite easy if there is little or no wind,windy it’s a different course altogether.

All courses are easy if you’re playing well the reverse can be said if you’re not ,I could imagine that course would be even tougher if the wind really got up,cracking little course well done mate.

Excellent vid, always entertaining , it looked a lot tougher than some , the length of the par 3s would of killed me, and as the guy said in the wind it will be quite a challenge .

Liam commented below but also enjoying these 18 hole videos. Yeah long tough par 3's there. Got one at local 210 or touch longer green is fair bit higher than the tee small green tough hole. But you had 4 or so that length. Need to get that hybrid going more I think
Another great 18 hole video and watching that how they can say thats the easiest course in Britain is beyond me especially when the par 3's are 220+ yds fair play to you as you say its real golf which you don't see on UA-cam that often

I think for me that is the type of course where you have a group of friends, three clubs and a putter in a Sunday bag and just have some fun in beautiful surroundings. At my age those long par 3’s are near par 5’s !
