My dear KLJ, making these rolls tonight for a service guy who installs my new oven tomorrow (for his family). Thank you so much for this delectable recipe!
My friend, I just made another pan of these leaving out the milk powder! They puffed up massively. I ate one immediately out of the pan. Absolutely ethereal! I thank you forever!
Thank you for your video. I am a new baker and your video was so helpful with my first attempt at milk buns. I love your explanations. Thank you so much!!
I have made these 4 times since I discovered your video 2 weeks ago! Today I am making a load bread instead of buns. Hey to your Tiger, from my cat Tiger! Be safe and thank you again!
This recipe is phenomenal! The rolls were an absolute hit at my early Thanksgiving yesterday. I didn't have plain sesame seeds so I added a sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning and it was pretty tasty. I just about had to beat my husband to make sure he didn't eat them all before our guests came 🤣 So glad I found it and I can't wait to browse your channel and try out more recipes! Happy Thanksgiving!
These were incredible! Thank you again! Tender, delicate and irresistible! I made hamburger shaped buns with mine and my husband said ALWAYS make them like this from now on! Thanks again. Hey to Tiger!
I’m not sure if these are the same as what I tried recently but they were wonderful! I’m going to try saving one small portion of the dough to be put in the next batch as suggested somewhere in the cloud. Love your show. When I saw your house I thought it was one in Little Valley (NY) but that is very near Buffalo not Albany! We went there as kids many times I remember it well!
Made these again my friend! This time I used evaporated milk, added a little nutmeg and 1/4 cup sugar instead of 1/3. Also used Kerry Gold butter and then brushed with honey & Kerry Gold! You have to try my additions! SUPERB!
Kevin this recipe looks delicious, can't wait to make it, oh BTW you can put a damp towel under your cutting board and it won't move or make noise, I hope this tip helps you.
Thank you for the video. I'm new to bread baking and discovered your chanel when looking how to test yeast. Very glad I did as you directions are so clear, easy to understand and complete. Question: can I double the recipe?
I cant wait to try these via your method tomorrow. I have not had a successful batch in years using King Arthur's recipe. I like your version of adding all the wet ingredients to the "starter", and then adding to the Dry. I think the issue I have is the yeast isn't developing (when I use the king Arthur version).
Hey Kevin Lee Jacob fans...if you add another 2 tbsps of sugar and 12 grinds of fresh nutmeg to this recipe it is awesome! Also, I let it rise 2 hours the first rise and 1 hour the second rise in a bread loaf pan. Makes absolutely superb everyday loaf bread! Cost $.75 per loaf! Thank you KEVIN LEE JACOBS!!!
Thank you so much! I am definitely going to make some of these lovely rolls. They look amazing and very tasty! Thank you again and take care! ☺💖🙏 PS: I wonder if they would be good for making West Virginia pepperoni rolls? My colleague is from West "By God!", and I bet she would love them! 😉
I am making these for Thanksgiving this year- and can make before hand and warm up on the day and I have a blue spoon - perfect lol Do these freeze well?
Hi Kevin, first I’d like to say that I’ve done two of your recipes successfully, thanks for making me look like a rock star 😂…I do have a question, if I used bread flour instead of all-purpose flour with this recipe, would I be able to make hamburger/hot dog rolls, or is this only for dinner type rolls? Thanks again for everything! 😁
You can absolutely use this dough to make hamburger buns. No need to swap the all-purpose flour for bread flour. If you are interested, I have a recipe for hamburger buns here: ua-cam.com/video/M4D8d50ZoJA/v-deo.html. Enjoy!!!
Do you ever find that your dough has a metallic taste when whisking metal against metal? I have switched to a plastic potato masher and a vinyl coated whisk cuz i could taste the metal. Yuk.
Making these Rolls again!!! Kevin? Why don’t you do a Tarragon Chicken and Wild Rice Soup recipe for your viewers! I have had that before but I am confident you have a better recipe! VIEWERS! These are the BEST & EASIEST dinner rolls EVER! (Notice how I keep posting this.)
I love the towel! And I only trust a cook who says his food doesn't last very long.
I love the tea towel! LOL!
Hi Kevin..i made these 3 times already. My husband loves these 'buns'. Thank you.
I'm so glad!!!
My dear KLJ, making these rolls tonight for a service guy who installs my new oven tomorrow (for his family). Thank you so much for this delectable recipe!
I'm so happy that you gave us the recipe in cups and tbsp and normal measurements. Easier to follow.
That's for sure, I get too confused with grams
We Americans don't do grams and milliliters.
Always enjoy your videos

Thank you Kevin for your recipe and guidance.
I'm so glad the rolls worked out for you, and that you took the time to tell me so!
Making these for Thanksgiving 2022! I add 1/2 tsp of vanilla and nutmeg. THE BEST RECIPE EVER!!!

Oh, my -- that sounds wonderful. I adore Kerry Gold butter!
Made these today using sour cream instead of milk. Also, used bread flour. Left out dry milk. They were lovely.
My neighbor Melania T and I made these together today. I made Swedish Meat Pies out of my batch. This is the best recipe ever!
I made this Bread rolls and amazing. It turned out so so great. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Hasmukh - I'm so glad you enjoyed these rolls!
Why dont we add the TangZhong to all of our bread recipes. Thanks for the excellent demo.

Sounds wonderful. I love nutmeg!
My goodness! They look delicious!
I make these weekly and I let this video run all the way through, while I make them, hoping it helps KLJ with his channel for views.

I love the towel. "Eat up, bitches!" So funny.
These look so good Kevin! Thank you! AOoooooooooGa!
When I put mine in the oven just now I said “Heat Up Bitches”!
Yay!
Kevin you say cover with a tea towel while proofing would the dough not dry out this way. Wouldn't it be better if covered with plastic wrap❓
Can’t wait to make them.
If there isn't merch available soon with "Kevin Lee Jacobs: Eat Up, Bitches" emblazoned across it, I will surely die of disappointment.
Boom!
Nice 👍
Instead of making these into rolls, how would I do a loaf version, what size pan, etc? Thanks to anyone willing to answer!

@@kevinleejacobs1364 You’re the best! Thank you, I’ll try that recipe too 😋
Could I double this recipe and everything turn out fine? I'm new to baking, but I'm practicing roll making for Thanksgiving! - Jonni
This recipe can be doubled. Enjoy!
White Kitchen and Kevin's black sweater "It seems to be correct". I ′m Japanese live in Kyoto, Japan. Milk bread beloved nostalgic bread.
Do you ever find that your dough has a metallic taste when whisking metal against metal? I have switched to a plastic potato masher and a vinyl coated whisk cuz i could taste the metal. Yuk.
❤❤❤
I make these twice a month. Super cheap as I get my ingredient in bulk. Maybe $.50.
Making these Rolls again!!!

Can do without the towel saying. Is that the only one he owns?
