In college, a field trip exposed him to the work of the famous photographer Ansel Adams, and his passion deepened. As technology changed, the purity of shooting on film and developing black and white prints remained constant for John. I shoot film and work in the darkroom again. It has changed how I shoot and I really love the hand made feel of my prints. I have been to the Weston gallery downtown Carmel and the works on display by all the big names floored me.

So many youtube photographers shoot film but let other people process the film and then scan the film. WHY oh WHY. Not criticising them as they produce remarkable images. Where do I purchase a 'mule'?🤣
