Just to let you guys know that different colours have different meanings too as well as the patterns wovened onto the Kente. Example, red and black Kente (or suit) is used for funerals signifying a grieving period.

I’ve been told if the bottom lip of the cloth doesn’t form a proper circle (like flat) as opposed to slant upwards it means you haven’t done it properly
