Kill Wasps that are out of Reach

- This has nothing to do with the Vantora Software, other than the software started for our paintball field, and we just bought another building for a new paintball field, and had a bunch of wasp nests that we could not easily get to!
You may know the trick of taking out wasps with soapy water, but I really didn't want to prop a ladder and crawl to the nest with bucket of water. So I came up with a way to take them out with my pressure washer!
This system worked great, and I found some more wasps on the second story of my house, so I thought some other paintball fields, or home owners might need to take out wasps in high places, so I made up a little video on how I did it. - Навчання та стиль
Larry, those are some rather LARGE wasps!! I can only imagine the sting/bite from those suckers. I hope to not see those here in South western BC, Canada. Good job on the video and tip on putting a stop to these wretched suckers!
Get the wasps up and dispose of them. Their stingers work even after they die. Your idea to use soap in your power washer was great! No poison!
You can buy long distance soap tips also. They have then at Lowe's. It is a pink tip. I have one it works great
Thanks jimmy...I’m gonna try this method..👍🏻
Try a pressute washer extension, then you could swing the nozzle, and it would be like an eraser
Did the nest get knocked down with the pressure??
AWESOME! Thanks!
Bahahahahah thanks!
Always a pleasure seeing ppl get their revenge on these suckers!
Snow foam and a snow lance is the answer.
wow those are some huge wasps. Any way to remove the nest?
The power washer will blast it off if you hit it for a bit - otherwise I have a long extension pole for my pool net, so I knock them down with that if they are stubborn.
Could you put insecticide in that or would it run the pressure washer sprayer? Sorry if that's a silly question. I figured it would🤣
The whole goal is not use insecticide. Let's not kill butterflies, bees, etc. Let's direct some soapy water at the wasps.
@@AxcitementSoftware right i had no idea the about the soapy water until now wow!
@@AxcitementSoftware wonder how the soap kills them
@@gabriellemanier2223 Soap kills the surface tension of the water, so it does not bead up on their bodies, and the breath through their bodies, so it instantly drowns and suffocates them. No residual poison to hurt any other animals.
@@AxcitementSoftware thank you
Try a muffin fan hanging from a bamboo pole next to the nest. Plug in an extension cord from a safe distance. They will all come out to attack the fan and will be shredded.
Hmmm...🤔...have you tried that?
Shouldn’t you be waiting until nightfall?
I never have... but they are a bit slower then... but I've taken them out during the day many times.
Use red tip will work
Don't EVER use the red 0 degree tip for anything! And don't pressure wash anything at any height on any wood or metal ladder!! Good grief people, get a boom lift and some soap nozzles that shoot streams up to 70 feet! $10 or less on Amazon! Do your homework!
Well, not using a ladder here, and there is nothing wrong with a red tip. It has a purpose or they would not make them! Just be careful not to use it very close to a surface that it could score, unless of course that is your goal!
Where’s this mythical 70’ soap thrower? Need one
WTH? Red / orange wasps? I’d move out and never look back
You gave me an idea. But I’m going to do it with foam cannon thinking the wasp would stick to the foaming shampoo!
ease share your idea! :) This is wasp/pest season afterall.
Fuck me, they are massive!
First it's not good for your pump to put dish soap. 2nd it isn't good to start your washer without bleeding the lines. 3rd the nest are still there to be rehabitated. I would get a ladder and shoot the nest down with water. Let em find another home.
Was thinking the same thing. Lol
What kind of hose to knock them down? We have 3 floors and they are nesting at the top by the chimney 3rd floor!! I have no idea what willreach the nest to knock them down
@@gabriellemanier2223 i would reccomend a long hose attachment maybe with an extension if you can find one, mix it with permethrin
Ladder? What could possibly go wrong?
