Film Break Down: Georgetown scores on 1-4-1 Mumbo-Pop

I break down Georgetown's 1-4-1 Mumbo-Pop where Bo Stafford #5 scores off of a dodge and assist by Charles McCormick #1. McCormick dodges against Villanova midfielder Jimmy Wyatt #23 and finds Stafford coming off of a mumbo pick by Jeff Fountain #6.
Reilly O'Connor #12 provides the pop action on the backside and Travis Comeau #44 fills from X. Villanova's Mark Jackson #36 slides to McCormick to open up Stafford for the goal from the wing.

I like the breakdown, but this is all about the SSDM getting toasted before the dodge hits the box causing a super long early slide, and three defenders on the off ball side guarding nobody. Hard to watch at the D1 level.

P-Lo it’s a 1-4-1. So one guy initially dodges from the top, 2 guys are flat on the crease and two more flat in line with the them either in the alley or just inside the box depending on man/zone. Lastly that leaves the guy at X.
