After I inserted the new icons, I lost my Android full-screen splash screen and it only shows the icon as a splash screen. How do I get it back?
In general, I love your videos James, primarily because you do deep dive into the necessary details for the beginners like myself...but
After watching this video several times, and trying to change my icons on my iPhone while I am developing my app, it doesn't work as you show in your video. After a several more hours of trying and research I've come to the conclusion that you need to make the changes on a Mac -- just as you switched to a Mac in your video -- but yet nothing has been explicitly stated as so.
There are many more people like myself with the same problem and can't seem to find a solution a simple web search will confirm it.
If I am in fact correct, it would sure be nice for you to state this as a caveat for the ios icons.
I'm thinking (and hoping) that when I actually do deploy my app, the icons will somehow work.

Quick question. How you put video on top of screen shear? Or you put this after ?
I just followed along with this and on iOS, the new app icon shows up fine in visual studio, but not when deployed to the phone. I'm using a windows machine and hot reload right now, is that an issue? In the video James swaps over to a mac to do that deploy.
When you use hot reload you are deploying your code into an app bundle so it isn't your actual app so no icon there, only when you connect to a mac or on your mac will you see it

Yup, just open the splash screen launch page in Xcode. The image you have will be in there. I'll do a video on this for sure though.

I did download the icons but for some reason I am getting :
- A value for the Info.plist key 'CFBundleIconName' is missing in the bundle 'xyz'. Apps built with iOS 11 or later SDK must supply app icons in an asset catalog and must also provide a value for this Info.plist key.

I cannot get this to work. Resource not found. Has this process been changed recently?
I’ll have to check again as it has been a while. .net Maui has everything built in. I’ll check on items again but should most likely work
