@debbiefika I dont think we are ruining the song, we have two services the morning we sing traditional hymns and in the evening we try and cater to the postmodern era we are living in and globalization especially in Samoa. Its not their fault, its the era they have grown up in, you cant get out of it....and now its in Samoa, I guess the influence of the media, technology etc so we try and incorporate both to suit the traditional and the more modern approach, but ultimately for the glory of God

They are the only College in both American Samoa and Western Samoa working on preserving the Old Version of all the Samoan songs. Thanks

How we sing and how we worship, must always be in truth and from our heart; but most importantly in faith, being fully persuaded that God hears us everytime we come before Him.
the original version of dis song is much more spiritual than this dis version(fati) brought the memories of X-Mas skit on my teen age time back home(Samoa) with our tama Rev. Leauma Iosia and tina Aituava Iosia from Fusi Saoluafata. Never Forget those time of enjoying my youth time.
@tmarekosiaosi...I agree with you. i wish they sing this hymn in their "ORIGINAL VERSION & TUNE" (FATI).They ruin the song by singing it fancy and now it does not sound like a hymn as it was supposed to be. It is always good to sing along when it sung in its origanal tune...thats the touble with todays generation; they want to change the samoan tradition.
