I was extremely depressed this morning, but as I was crying in bed, something was different: I actually felt God's love and I actually forgave myself and others! Perry, it does stop in time. I haven’t been to the psych ward in eight years. I have 8 mental disorders. ADD, OCD, Generalized anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, autism and multiple personality disorder they actually come out, they talk different, they write different and one has an ulcer and the other two alters do not. I am almost 49 years old and I have suffered from mental illness for 34 years. I’m not gonna say it’s not hard because it’s very difficult as I’m sure you know and as you stated. It’s not easy either way but with God it’s a lot more simpler. I remember one day my sister came home I was laying on her bed and she took her jacket off and she hung it up and I started crying and she said why are you crying and I said because when I’m sick I can’t hang my jacket up. I think that mental illness is the worst thing in the world to have. And we are not understood. I would go months sitting in my bed crying for 8-12 hrs. I would go to sleep at two in the afternoon to escape the pain. And to this day when I get depressed I get scared I’ll go back to that. I have stories that would make you cringe as far as how I’ve been treated with mental illness.I know I’m going on and on so I will say good night and if you ever need to talk you can talk to me.
