Incredible how EBU fucked up whole contest
This song should be about nostalgia and joy, but now it has a sad tone. Stupid EBU... 😞

Its a happy song, with a sad tone because of what the EBU decided on the day before the final.
I agree with you to some extent: it's a party by all means and you can't ruin it. It's a one-of-its-kind moment in the whole year. There's a bittersweet feel left.
For me it still sounds nice and hopeful! The EBU messed up but the Song contest needs to be a bit corrupt and spicy for some drama.
I don't mind that we had to sacrifice our candidate Joost Klein for that.
