This is a weird coincidence but I’m working on a Mario medley atm and the original rough draft had the first 3 themes in the same order, with the coin and 1-up sounds as well. 🤔 Never heard your medley before. Edit: just realized it could have been subconsciously emulating Sonya’s arrangement from Player Piano
As an NES game developer, I can tell you this is an accurate transcription of the 2 square waves and triangle wave of the original composition. It is accurate of 75% of the original composition. The only thing that is missing is the noise channel, or what most would percieve as the drums/rhythm. It might seem that the piano is limited to only notes and not beats/drums, but you'd be amazed by what can be accomplished

World class concert pianists take at least a week to learn a new song, and that's with many years of practice already behind them. They typically take over a month to learn a song well enough to become somewhat confident playing the piece in a performance setting. Some say up to a year to really know a piece inside and out; as in, able to play it flawlessly on the spot at any time. Granted, this piece is harder to PLAY than it is to actually LEARN, but my point still stands-you're talking as if you can already play it well. If you're exaggerating (which I most definitely think you are) please try not to make a habit of that as you grow up. We have enough liars and exaggerators in the world today. There is no good reason to do so and deep down you won't feel good about lying-let alone lying in a UA-cam comment section on the internet. If I'm wrong, I'll gladly eat my words in awe.
