for me, it's less of a death flag and more of a "mara-struck" flag. I somehow wonder if Phantylia can also trigger giving the Xianzhou people mara-struck, like with the abundance, but he's going to it at a slower pace, at least, slower than that woman from Bailu's mission.

Because their is some confusion regarding this, let me clear some things up:-
1) Phantylia here, the Emanator of destruction(also called lord ravager) is being powered by both the Aeon of destruction and aeon of abundance(Yaoshi). Destruction because she’s the Emanator of that aeon and abundance because she took over the Ambrosial Arbor(one of Yaoshi’s strongest creations. So strong even Lan(Aeon of The Hunt) couldn’t fully destroy it.
2) Dan Heng is the scion of the Aeon of permanence called Long. It won’t be wrong to assume Dan is also like an Emanator to Long if not stronger because he and his race was created from Long. But he is the one carrying the dragon spirit. Making him that strong.
3) Jing Yuan baited Phantylia throughout that entire boss fight to focus her onslaught solely on him. Why? To protect us and specially Dan Heng the only person capable of sealing the Ambrosial Arbor’s infinite regeneration ability that Phantylia was using to heal herself over and over again. The Vidhyadhara arts are the only ones who can seal arbor.
4) In simulated universe their is an destruction blessing that allows you to spread damage across the whole team. Because the teammates are then linked together.
Phantylia used the same link ability to try and turn Jing Yuan into a destruction beast like herself. It happened because Jing Yuan was intentionally baiting her into doing that. Why? So that the destruction link would be formed between them and damage would be shared. Then he asks Dan Heng to stab him, so that this Dan’s attack can hit Phantylia through the shared link. This damage she cannot defend against because it’s coming from the link not directly. This attack also stops her Regen/damage prevention and gives Jing Yuan the opportunity to one-shot her body with a single powerful strike from Lightening Lord.
5) Also this means that Jing Yuan tanked attacks from not 1 not 2 but 3 aeons Emanators. Phantylia bringing Destruction and Abundance and Dan Heng in that final strike when he stabs Jing Yuan the power of Permanence.

Not to mention she is not even used to the power of the Adundance, imagine how OP she would be if she mastered it on a short time.

In the end, we have the MC
So this is Elio's script all along. He wanted the Xianzhou Luofu to know that the Astral Express crew is the only one who can fight against Nanook's Ravagers and Nanook themself. That's what Kafka meant by saying the Trailblazer needed to be here and have the Luofu owe them a favor, because in the final battle against Nanook, EVERYONE needs to be there to make sure the Aeon is killed.
Kafka is just the actor sent by Elio. I'm guessing Elio is an emanator of Terminus and knows that the only way to prevent the end of all is to kill Nanook, the spreader of the Stellarons.

Great chapter overall I must say. My only complaint is that, why did they leave us hanging with a Tingyun neck snap. 😭 I hope the real Tingyun is alright.😞
The real Tingyun is dead, Phantylia killed her and took over her body. They don't say it outright, because that would break some kind of law against dead bodies in the game, but in a relic set, it's said that she takes over the bodies of those she kills, so the real Tingyun is long gone.
@@kunindavual stop the cap. Do you really think that they can show Himeko's lifeless body going down but not say that Tingyun is dead? Characters themselves gave us reasons why Phantylia probably used a cover and real Tingyun is somewhere else, even the "body" she supposedly just "possesed' simply dissapeared, which was also mentioned. It doesn't make sense from the narrative standpoint to make character's death so sudden and with no real emotions shown. Jing Yuan even said that he will search for her, like come tf on, it's an obvious Chekhov's gun beign set for the real Tingyun to appear later in the story.

I made the mistake of doing the Equilibrium quest just before 1.2 and forgot that the enemy levels would be increased. All my characters were lvl 65 - 68 and I had to face lvl 70 and up bosses. I had to fight her four times to win 😭
I also did equilibrium before 1.2

Nah skill issue my g, my characters were level 60 when I did the eq quest and just casually levelled up half my team to 70 right before the fight and it was easy af

I did the same mistake and all of the basic enemies were around level 77 now. Somehow, nobody died during the entire quest though
This quest had me on the edge of my seat. As a Jing Yuan main, my god, I got extremely worried for the general while doing this quest. The short animation explaining his past with Jingliu was pretty much like foreshadowing. I feel like Hoyo is very likely to give him the Himeko treatment 😭😭
after rewatching this cutscene a thought came to me, what if by the end of the story jing yuan is spent and decided to step down from the general position and pet fu xuan takes his place? now that i think about there's been more comments from him to her like "Spoken like a general already".
Yea i am expecting Jing Yuan to retire after the story. He might also give us his spear for us to unlock the hunt path

@@user-zj6yinot an emenator,since he is on the path of erudition so yeah. Just because he follows the Path of hunt doesn't mean he is an emenator, emenator means he gets powered directly by the aeon but in his case it doesn't seem like so.

@@InfernaladmiralHe's not on the Path of Erudition. For game reasons, he is, but that's just how they sort out different roles. He is "blessed by Lan" which can definitely be taken to mean "Emanator of the Hunt." Characters like Hook and Clara are obviously not actually on the Path of Destruction, and Bailu can't actually be on the Path of Abundance because it's illegal on the Xianzhou.
Jing Yuan being the "backup" was one of my favorite moments in this game. I don't care if he's weaker than all the limited dps, I will still use and main him because he's just too damn cool.

The Phantlylia said she's going to turn him into a void ranger, he almost, but in the end he summoned Lightning Lord, and with a help of IL (Dan Heng), she then like gave up, JY's voice was so exhausted. And he did closed his eyes. That's what happen before the scene ended.
Anyway about Dan Heng, unfortunately we have to summon him. Although he's the same person in story, he's an entirely different character in gameplay. You know something like FGO. And yes you can put his 4* and 5* version in the same team.
Saw a lot of comments arguing about her power level and stuff ignoring the fact that the story is probably shaping around the fact that the MC will defeat Nanook himself in the end which means we will potentially acquire the power of Aeons and become the Avatar of the paths that will bring peace to the universe.
Made me think jing yuan is very op, from cocolia to phantylia- i mean all the lightning characters are relevant and op since early because of the lightning weakness from almost all. May have missed jing yuan but im gonna get kafka this time

anyone weirded how the chapter ended with this cutscene. I know the story for xianzhou isn't over yet and it has a great animation (Not the tingyun nap snek one. But the Dan heng prince of egypt specifically). But still, A simple dialogue of our characters recovering from the battle outside the water temple thingy would've been a nice conclusion for the chapter. (Not hating btw. Just curious if anyone else finds it a bit funny like i did)

@anceldesingano8687 Maybe current Welt. Though you have to remember that we only fought, essentially an avatar of her, a stolen body. If Jing Yuan and Dan Heng were able to take that version of her down, so could Welt. Although, fighting her for real, the most Welt could do is probably just hold her off for a couple minutes at most. Now if this was prime Welt, he negs the HSR Verse with ease.

Unrelated to the video, but I have noticed something about Phantiliya. If you take a good look at phantiliyas hairstyle, it strikes a very close resembelance to fu xuans hair. It's the same with some of her hair accessories.
Im not really sure why and if the resembalance is an important factor but I do belive that Fu xuan might have some relation with Tingyun/Phantiliya. Maybe a past mentor or an important person. Or even the next tingyun?
The fact that Jing Yuan’s voice actor and his partner simped over Phantyla at one point cracks me up!
Just saying the EN script is very miss leading.
In EN, Phantylia says "But all I lost was a body stolen on a whim."
But in CN she says "But all I lost was a body created on a whim."
And what I meant by miss leading is on the speculation of Phantylia stole Tingyun's body. Because after "Tingyun" died her body was gone with Phantylia, so I think that kinda confirms that the real Tingyun is still alive if we looka at the CN script instead of the EN script.

Remember that both Jing Yuan and Imbibitor Lunae are as strong as an Emenator of Abundance and a Lord Ravager. If Phantylia fought them in her regular form it would have been over before it even started XD.

This quest was my favorite by far like I didn’t care for the snow land story but this quest was so amazing

Jing Yuan Lightning Lord Backshot combo
I wouldn't say this particular cutscene was well directed. It was hard to realuze what was happening because the cuts were yoo quick and the perspective too narrow. It took me 3 rewinds to understand it was the original flower behund her back that was shattered. It wasn't visible during the fight and she was looking to her left the frame before. The Chad Lord portion was too quick. Anywhere else, the trailer and in game, it has a nice wind up but not here.

Most of it made sense to me, but I definitely agree about the flower bit. I also think they could've left the spear in longer, or done one of those black-and-white frames.
