    Bugger. Just bought the original. Missed the update but YES screw terminals were a necessary update. Well done for fixing this.

    What happens if you got 800watts of solar that system ?

    • @DW-10
      @DW-10 2 роки тому

      I am not sure about 800w in terms of heat dissipation etc. However I also had a query about overpanelling. I queried adding 500w. The response from their tech support was that it would be ok. The unit will continue to charge at it’s maximum (30a/420w) and any energy generated by the solar above this wasted/not used.

    Hi , does the aux input still just pass through to the battery and requires the additional dcdc unit to up the amps charge the battery or has been upgraded to remove this requirement?

    Hi, I have the BatteryPlus35-II-HA with the TREK3, I have been told that even if I'm not using the van, not to turn the TREK3 off, to leave it on.
    I have in the past turned the TREK3 off when I've finished using the van, what should I do, Leave the TREK3 on or off?
    Thanks for your help. Mick.

    Hi BMPRO, John here, thank you for your videos, I notice you said the BatteryPlus35-II is ok to receive input from 2-3 solar panels, we are getting a new Crusader caravan that uses this system (with the Odyssey screen) & looking at putting 3 x 200w panels or maybe 4 as we will run a compressor fridge and many people say to put as much solar on the roof. Is this system ok to have 3 or 4 x 200w panels feeding to it? The van dealer said 4 panels is ok, but wanted to check.... If not what options are there to manage say 4 panels? Thank you 😃

    Doesn’t current flow from the negative side?

    With the need to add a dcdc charger and the display, price point isn’t competitive with other options on the market.
    Pity, as it’s a great unit…..

    Buying a new caravan want to know what is the best system to get running 2x120 lithium batteries ,800 watts of solar, also what is the best monitor you can get The Odyssey or Trek3

    Hello, would this also suit a 4x4 canopy setup instead of say Redarc or Victron chargers that most people are using? Could I plug a 12v water pump, 12v fridge, Travel Buddy into this? Regards Paul

    • @BMPROau
      @BMPROau  2 роки тому +1

      This would be fine in the canopy of a ute, I use one myself every day of the week. The outputs are rated at X2 at 15amp and X12 at 10 amp. If you are wanting to fit an inverter down the track, you can mount a BC300 at the battery and see all loads directly at the battery.
      Kind regards,

    I have a few tech questions for BMPRO
    I have emailed but yet to receive a reply
    I have a 2018 Winnebago XCountry Burke caravan
    Currently I have a Bmpro35, trek interface ,
    I have purchased a Bmpro-11-HA so I can upgrade to one 200 amp lithuim
    My questions
    I assume it’s pretty much disconnect and reconnect inputs and outputs ,
    I don’t currently run a aux charging Anderson from my 2015 Ford Ranger
    I am hoping to run the power with a fusable link and Anderson plugs directly into the aux input ,
    In regards to solar inputs , one will be fed from my roof top factory solar , the second solar input will be fed via Anderson plug and a 250 watt foldable panel
    Do I need to remove my lithuim controller on my movable panel and direct feed ( same as my roof mounted solar ( according to Bmpro tech tips) if this is the case , I have a 1000 watt inverter,
    I think that about covers it for now

    • @BMPROau
      @BMPROau  2 роки тому

      Hi Donal, BatteryPlus35 models are supplied to a broad range of caravan manufacturers. For Jayco, BMPRO designed a different system, J35 + JHub. We don't think it is supplied in Jayco Terrain though.

    Very disappointed that the output algorithm cannot be changed from lead acid to lithium without buying another component. Possibly add a switch or dip switch so this can be achieved without having to buy a touch screen or trek which are quite expensive for what they do.

    • @BMPROau
      @BMPROau  2 роки тому

      The use of an OdysseyLink 103 can also be used to program the algorithms and battery sizes. This will also give you full control of the system from up to 4 smart devices such as your own smart phone or tablet

      @@BMPROau Looking for something that will be ok for a camper trailer.. The product would be the Red arc RedVision vs say bmpro battweryplus35-II-HA with odessy

    • @BMPROau
      @BMPROau  2 роки тому

      BatteryPlus35-II-HA is compatible with lead acid and lithium batteries, and would definitely be a good choice for your camper trailer. You can install an Odyssey monitor if you wish, or opt for a more simple monitor, such as RVView2 or Trek3, and use them together with the Odyssey app on your smartphone.
