    Inflammation is a condition where your affected part is inflamed/swollen. Intolerance to certain foods so cause a type of inflammation in gut, which in turn causes gut mucosa to malfunction. Even after being a doctor, I used to believe I don't have problem with wheat or milk (I hated cow's milk, though), or egg. But, after reading a book on gluten and Fructans, I just avoided wheat for a few days, without any loss in calories or water. I lost 4 Kgs without any exercise, that week. I am continuing to lower such foods in my diet, and took care to eat home cooked food mostly. Have lost 17Kgs now. I exercise, maybe twice or thrice a week for half an hour or so. I also had problems with weight, like Mrs. Vidya (trying hard, portion control and all)

    You are not a woman you don’t understand what she is saying…..womens body is different from mens….after 40 excercise does not help much & YES you can lose weight in this phase without exercising. I didn’t lose an inch after walking for 2 hrs for almost a year but lost a lot of weight by just eliminating processed food from my diet. What she’s talking about is very true…so apko Hazam ho na ho she is very right! 😄

    My nephew lost 30 kg in six months just with diet. He takes only one thali in a day. No excercise, nothing. He says for diet and excercise you have to put lot of efforts.. while just skipping meals you r not doing anything. One lunch and 2-3 black coffee made his look like 12th standard kid now

    I have done Amura in 2023 for 3 month and i lost 11 kgs, they eliminated all the foods that didnt suit me. what vidya balan is saying is right.

    I lost 15 pounds I had sciatica issues so I could not walk so I started fasting and all of the time I was just on my bed because I could not walk properly although I like exercise but in some cases exercise will not help you like people with chronic stress issues the body is already producing stress hormones and doing heavy exercise means more stress in the body increase inflammation and you might not loose fat so every one is different you have to find your way some people with dysregulated nervous system also put on weight specially in belly area because of extra cortisol production body starts to store fat
    Important things to check first is your nervous system regulating properly? your endocrine system working properly?if not then your body will be in survival mode producing stress hormones causing inflmation and fat issues also your gut and brain issues are related to it

    She is right even if doing gym & on calories deficit diet after curtain kilo weight loss you will hit a impossible road block on you should focus on mide protein to high fibre food & remove all supplements & multivitamin focus on low inflammation food & easy matabolise food then fasting or water diet for 1 or 2 days a week to break the wall.
    She correct normal daily life moment will be enough.

    But weight loss without excercise means not only fat but also muscle loss. Doing combination of some cardio and some form of resistance training is necessary to build muscle and give a good shape to the body.

    I had a same experience i have a been a professional dancer artist and use to workout alot as it was my workout but i never lost any weight, and there i got injured took 2 months break did only kn good diet and lost 6-8 kgs and never felt so fit and energetic

    It is actually true that inflammation increases weight and it is confused as fat.
    Many people have this issue. Even if u exercise it won't help much ,u need to work on ur diet first and then work on workout.

    She is right. They tell you not to workout in Amura. But the diet is very difficult. But you get the results. Once you lose weight they will tell you to do yoga and other exercises to maintain weight.

    She is right, you can lose weight without exercise if you pay attention to your diet because weightloss is 80% based on diet itself, exercise plays hardly 20% role. But ues, its good to exercise alongwith proper diet for a balanced weight loss and to maintain your overall health

      You have probably missed the point I wanted to drive home. EXERCISE.
      Any weightloss achieved without workout/exercise will bounce back for sure. Also, hormones, bone mass, joints , bones , organs for everything exercise is important. I have yet to come accross a professional nutritionist who says don't do exercise.
      Secondly, it's a reaction video so I can't show the original video continuously as that will bring copyright issues.

    I am a nutritionist....and I believe correct weight loss is doing household work and proper diet ....and not dieting....Do you know that workout in gym can reduce your collagen from body and u will age more quickly. 😅

      1⃣ Vidya: I dieted and exercised like crazy, but the weight came back.
      Science: Extreme diets might shed pounds quickly, but if they are not sustainable, they will likely backfire. When you return to old habits or eat more calories than you burn, weight returns because of a caloric surplus. Sustainable change wins over drastic diets every time.
      2⃣ Vidya: My weight kept increasing, even when I exercised more.
      Science: Exercise isn't a direct ticket to weight loss. It is a tool for strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. Weight management is primarily about balancing calories. While exercising burns calories, it doesn’t work if overeating undoes the deficit.
      3⃣ Vidya: This is inflammation, not fat.
      Science: Excess body weight and inflammation often go hand in hand. Obesity increases fat cells, which release inflammatory markers. But the sequence is crucial: chronic inflammation often stems from weight gain, not the other way around. Managing weight through healthy choices can reduce inflammation markers.
      4⃣ Vidya: Weight gain equals inflammation.
      Science: Inflammation is a response by our body for a condition and it doesn’t come on its own. The main factor behind weight gain is lifestyle. Overeating and sedentary habits are primary culprits, not inflammation itself.
      5⃣ Vidya: Eliminating certain foods made my weight drop.
      Science: Eliminating food groups can lead to weight loss if it creates a calorie deficit. But an “anti-inflammatory” diet is mostly a myth. Foods like spinach and milk are not “pro-inflammatory” in themselves; sustainable weight loss is the real game changer for reducing inflammation.
      6⃣ Vidya: They told me to stop working out.
      Science: Exercise causes localised inflammation which is acute and short lived. This shouldn’t discourage us from exercising, as it is absolutely necessary for long-term health.
      Clearly, science is the winner here. Remember, healthy habits are the real heroes, and there is no single "magic bullet" anywhere. What works for others might not work for you. So take every health advice with a pinch of salt.

    Difficult to digest story. Exercise is essential to loose weight besides diet, otherwise the skin will sag. Possible she followed diet, Ozempic and surgery too. Actors need to look good for their work… which is their bread and butter 🎉

      U seem very biased n just dont hv an open mind. Learn to be receptive too. One doesnt need to exercise to loose weight. The change of diet does that. N only people who hv struggled all their life exercising dieting etc will know. So many of us are normal aam janta not celebrities. Why wd all of us bullshit??

    Each body is different....
    I put on 10 kgs ..till then i was any wr b/w 58 to 61.
    Reason, my mom fell sick, i lost sleep, skipped breakfast, had to rush to offc, stress, ended up putting 10 kgs within 6 months.
    Both allopathy and ayurveda told its inflammation...
    I have come across people, who have lost weight doing intermittent fasting.

    Its possible sir. Our food help to reduce weight. Be active instead of exercise that will help. She might be doing regular yog also.
    I reduced 15pound ,with regular but good food with no exercise and with no yog .
