The most respectable thing of the BJP is that their party is lead by leaders who have performed rather than those with a specific surname. If only other parties had this structure we would have a more civilised political system. In a democracy having a party whose internal structure is autocratic is counter-productive and ironic, hypocritic.

Vajpayee ji's vision of how the party should be, was tarnished when the party decided to play and involve religion in poltics after LK Advani took over....I believe every political system & party in this country should keep state and religion seperate.

Everyone should read his book "My country, my life". The book captures the very essence of the right wing vision for India. A vision which is just as beautiful as it is truthful.
My faith in the right grew immensely after reading this book, universal brotherhood, no discrimination on the basis of any class, positive attitude towards the vibrant culture of India..... The original principles of this great civilization.
Postscript. The book is an absolute original work and boasts of literary merit that only few books could match. As a book it is excellent.
