If you wear these for more than a week it's damn near impossible to keep these clean at the base of your natural lash like how professionalindividual ones are. Causing major lash mites and other issues near the eyes. (ALSO DISCLAIMER THIS IS ONLY MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND MY MOM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. DO WHAT THAT INFORMATION AS YOU WILL)

*Edit: I had my lashes done by a a supposed "professional" and she used the Ardelle Wispy Clusters and the Ardell black glue. Improper application irritated my eyes because of placement, extra glue, and ultimately lack of knowledge form the professional. When it irritated my eyes it caused my eyes to water and get crusty form constantly scraping my lids and soft parts of my eye. When it was time to clean them it irritated them further from all the rinsing, movement and repeating that eventually I had to take them off myselfy because they were not done correctly. And i didnt want them to cause more problems for me.*

@@yas7267 okay...well some people don't know that. mines were applied by a "professional" and they told me to keep mines for like 2 weeks. obviously not true but I made this comment to help people from going through what I went through because a supposed professional told me so.

I did this for about a year and lost most of my lashes. Wouldn’t recommend long time use. It took another year to get my lashes back to looking full and long.

@@foreignbaby101 Lol, anything you put on your lashes can make them fall out. Using a glue to adhere lashes on for more than a day is harmful. Especially for people that rip them out and dont use proper solution to take them off. Even when I had professional lash extensions, my natural lashes were in the worst state ever, nearly bald. Now, after almost no product for 1+ years, my lashes have grown back from the stress of extensions.

@@proanimaluver6487 Honestly? Nothing! I quite literally stopped using any and all products on my lashes because they were so bald, I wasn't risking an infection or worse. However, lash serums can be very useful BUT I'd do some research on what would work best for you. Some serums have natural ingedients and others have been linked to change eye color or even cause vision loss. Some say castor oil is a great to nourish eyelashes but no treatment is overnight, they all require time and patience!
Stop. Telling people to adhere them UNDER the lash line is so dangerous! The recommendation of Optometry and Opthalmology professionals that if you're going to wear lashes, that they be placed on top of the lash line, as it still allows the natural lashes to protect eyes. False lashes placed under the lash line can cause micro abrasions and even permanent injury on the lower water line and the cornea...
They are simply following the products instructions.
“One by one, gently place the WISPS underneath the base of your natural lashes, slightly away from the waterline.”
That's what they're designed for? They don't go on the lash line they go directly on the lash

@@gwyntendo64 yes, the top or "back side" of the lash, the part that is closest to the eyelid not UNDER. Reading product instructions is important, and always should be done... but using this application method during testing for professional licensing is going to ensure you don't pass. There are a few very specific reasons that this method isn't standard practice protocol for licensing.
To fully explain why would require an anatomic diagram of a dissected eyelid, but it basically comes down to the direction and angle of the lashes growing and why it's exponentially safer to place the lash on TOP of the lash not under it and the Opthalmology community (Doctors who diagnose and treat the specific health conditions of the eyes) as well as the optometry community(doctors who treat vision/vision related issues) have agreed on this since lash application started to become a service that does infact require licencing... Most "lash artists" or "professional lash artist" don't ACTUALLY have the health board certification in conjunction with their non existent cosmetology license, specializing in lash application....
My ex's baby sister had her lashes done at a nail shop in Oakland, CA, everything was fine, at first.... Fast forward about 9 days and this poor child looked like a demon slug was trying to crawl out her eye socket... One of the lashes got embedded DEEPLY through every layer of her eye, where a PARASITE then made a meal out of her eyeball and ATE her pupil, iris and cornea... YES. REALLY😞
She now has a glass eye....

I love these. I did mine yesterday. I legit don't use much else these days since I found out how easy they are to apply!They look great. I love how you can't feel them on. They don't pinch or have to be cut to size like strip lashes. You can also make your own if you're a lash hoarder like myself. Just cut my strip lashes up to make custom lash looks with this application. There are so many GOOD brands too! 🙌 it doesn't irritate your eyes when you sleep, I only keep mine on for about 3 days.

Girl you don’t even need lash extensions. Your natural lashes are gorgeous! But I get it, it’s very tempting.
My cousin tried to teach me this method with the individual wispy and ardelle glue. It felt so heavy and weird. I wear prescription contacts so it was irritating to blink and felt like they were covering my top eyesight. I tried to apply them once more and could never do it I thought it felt wrong. Went back to my standard reg eyelash and learned the method really well. I remove them daily and use lash oil on my natural lashes regularly. My natural lashes are pretty long now. My cousin has been complaining that her lashes never have grown back 🙁

@@samanthamorgan8117it depends for me when I first started doing them and then took a break I can tell they were thinner and since I rubbed my eyes it pulled out a couple lashes. All I did after was apply Vaseline on my natural lashes every night and when I went to get a new set of lashes they were strong again.

This tutorial was everything I needed in my life right now!!!! THANK YOU! Because I was doing it ALL wrong! I was applying the bond on my full lash instead of just the base, and on the full extension instead of just the magnetic part! Can’t wait to re-do and see how much better this new set looks!
UPDATE (10/15/23): Started applying bond to under waterline and base of my upper lid and to the magnetic strip of the false lash. In addition, I also only apply the clear seal to the inside base of the false lash instead of the entire lash and top ridge of my eyelids and the finish is beautiful! My lashes look long and fluffy instead of individually stuck together and doing so causes no buildup. Lashes last for about 5-7 days.

Just get magnetic ones or use regular ones with lash glue OVER the eyeline. Doing this too much will cause your lashes to either fall out or bring more bacteria to the eye

@@mskiss22 i-ENVY By KISS Super Strong Hold Eyelash Adhesive, in black. I apply it with a spoolie to my lash line and then a little on the lash base. Its very tacky so use it sparingly. I take the lashes off with coconut oil weekly.

I just coat the hell out of my natural lashes and try out maybelline falsies. I think it's healthier or just do this for special events. Not for the everyday makeup look IMO

Yes, some brands do not actually affect natural lashes, and one of them is LLBA. Their glues are safe tho, but I think we are also responsible for taking care of our natural lashes to avoid getting bald like using a lash serum, etc.

I just tried this with a brand that sent me some that are “ pre bonded “ but they don’t stick well enough, going to pick up some lash glue and hopefully will be able to use all these lash clusters

These will irritate your bottom water line when you close your eyes. Don’t even think about rubbing your eye, cause it WILL HURT. The band is just too thick and that’s why actual lash extensions are better in a way. If you are going to do this, practice doing it on top of the lash line instead of under, that way it doesn’t irritate the bottom water line when you blink or close your eyes. But whether it is placed on top or bottom it’s going to be hard to keep clean considering you won’t be able to mess with them much or else they will just fall off.
