I really appreciate whoever worked for the subtiles. It’s lengthy and studious task. At times, we used to impress by our children speaking in English and now we are impressed by their speaking in Tibetan. Thank you Khecho la for reminding us to be tibetanese in our daily life through your film.

Wonderful film showing the experiences of those in our community whose background stories often get overlooked or judged. The film highlights the importance of kindness and understanding from active Tibetan community members to include and encourage all Tibetans, so that the younger ones may grow to have a positive asaociation with the Tibetan people, culture and language which are ultimately core parts of their identity. To those with a similar story to Tracy and her family, like the film's message- keep your head up, it's never too late and you're not alone. Congrats, it was a well made, thought provoking short film. All actors and the film makers have done a good job at passing on the message that the future of our identity lies in our own hands, and how well we deal with it especially by parents. On a deeper level, the question of the preservation of the national identity in an alien land can be far more challenging than what we perceive to be a mere case of language inadequacy. It is much more. With time and changing generation, the problem becomes even more profoundly deep especially in our case whose population is decimally small and spread thin compared to other immigrants. We need to have an open public debate on this intractable problem, and find meaningful solutions. Ideas expressed in this short film can be a good starting point. Thank you for doing this short film.
