Mir kommt es so vor, dass der Illgraben dieses Jahr besonders "wild" ist. Ich bewundere immer Ihre Fähigkeit, zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort zu sein. Ich weiss zwar, dass der WSL ein ausgeklügeltes Überwachungssystem entwickelt hat. Aber ich denke, Sie benötigen und haben auch viel Erfahrung mit alpinem Wetter. Und sicher auch Geduld ... ich könnte mir vorstellen, das Sie viel Zeit mit Warten verbracht haben. Mal wieder Danke für dieses beeindruckende Video!
Die Erfahrung wirds denk ich sein. Wenn man an so einer Örtlichkeit wohnt, weiss man irgendwann die Abstände vom Einsetzen des Regens ' da oben' bis zur Ankunft der Mure 'da unten' einzuschätzen. Und wild wars diesmal aber so richtig; von quasi Rinnsal bis zur max. Bachbettbreite in 3sek. hab ich beim Illgraben noch nie gesehen. War schon echt beeindruckend. Denke aber auch, dass wir zukünftig dank Klimawandel noch viele Murgänge mit einer solchen Intensität erleben werden...

@@noraleestone2859 c'est un 6 m. Un peu mon moyen d'évaluer leur grosseur...habituellement il y a des 4 m 4×2×1.5 = 20 tonnes 5 m c'est des 30 à 50 tonnes. Un 6 m c'est 6x4x3 pour qu'ils tiennent un peu la route...c'est des gros quoi 100 tonnes sans trop exagérer. L'hiver quand le Rhône est bas je vais les mesurer. Mais en fait en regardant bien on en voit dans pas mal de. rivières voir même de ruisseaux. Tous les cent ans de tels évènements peuvent arriver dans tous les cours d'eau....

Mais vu le vacarme on a pas pris le risque d’aller voir comme d’habitude. Là on a compris que c'était sérieux et on a pris des précautions pour la sécurité.

How on earth do you get information that such a massive flow is coming down. Is this a once a season happening? Incredible. Look at the size of the rocks at the front.
Not after every rain....usualy 4 - 5 Times a year. If After every rain, it would be to easy to see one...lot of people living here never see Illgraben coming down. Anyway this year there were more than 15 debris flows. Mountains are coming down....😢

I looked it up in Wikipedia and a few other references, and apparently half the mountain collapsed in the 14th century. So these debris flows must have been occurring ever since. From photos of the area, I think the flows could go on for many centuries.
@@user-ii9ej2iq1s Sooner or later, every mountain will be washed away. But it is very interesting to watch tis process in real time. Also very interesting is where the ditch flows into the river. The movements and changes of the sediment.
mais vous l'entendez 🤭 J'en ai aussi loupé ! j'ai tendance à dire que l'Illgraben vient quand il en a décidé....Dans le cas précis, j'ai vu la pluie tomber en restant sur place en plein dans le bassin versant, pouring down... Je ne m'attendais pas par contre à ce qu'elle arrive si vite, par après en regardant le radar j'ai constaté qu'une précipitation encore plus intense avait touché le bord du canyon là haut à 2000 m, un quart d'heure avant l'arrivée de la lave.....en moyenne elle a dû descendre à 45 km /h.. et filmée entre 25 et 30 km/h
@@thomasgrand9788 Sierre, mais je me déplace souvent quand il y a risque de lave torrentielle. J'étais vers Agarn quand la pluie a commencé à tomber de manière stationnaire sur le canyon, vers 19h25. Je suis allé placer une caméra plus haut et ai attendu. J'ai croisé une famille de touriste qui montait le chemin le long du chenal et qui se demandait ce que j'attendais là. J'espère qu'ils ont pu voir aussi le spectacle. Puis à 19h 45 j'ai pensé avoir le temps de descendre de l'autre côté du Rhône. En partant j'entendais que la lave descendait tout là haut. Je lui ai donné 25 minutes pour qu'elle arrive, d'après les pluies que j'avais vues elle ne devait pas être énorme. Elle en a fait 10. A 19h50 une pluie extrême que j'ai pu voir sur le radar par après avait touché le haut du bassin versant. A 20h05 elle se jetait dans le Rhône. J'ai eu juste le temps de placer une autre caméra et de sortir ma caméra mobile....

Illgraben always has debris flow after every rain. but this one was surly one of the biggest he ever filmed.

I looked it up in Wikipedia and a few other references, and apparently half the mountain collapsed in the 14th century. So these debris flows must have been occurring ever since. From photos of the area, I think the flows could go on for many centuries.
@@user-ii9ej2iq1s Sooner or later, every mountain will be washed away. But it is very interesting to watch tis process in real time.
Also very interesting is where the ditch flows into the river. The movements and changes of the sediment.

mais vous l'entendez 🤭 J'en ai aussi loupé ! j'ai tendance à dire que l'Illgraben vient quand il en a décidé....Dans le cas précis, j'ai vu la pluie tomber en restant sur place en plein dans le bassin versant, pouring down... Je ne m'attendais pas par contre à ce qu'elle arrive si vite, par après en regardant le radar j'ai constaté qu'une précipitation encore plus intense avait touché le bord du canyon là haut à 2000 m, un quart d'heure avant l'arrivée de la lave.....en moyenne elle a dû descendre à 45 km /h.. et filmée entre 25 et 30 km/h

@@thomasgrand9788 Sierre, mais je me déplace souvent quand il y a risque de lave torrentielle. J'étais vers Agarn quand la pluie a commencé à tomber de manière stationnaire sur le canyon, vers 19h25. Je suis allé placer une caméra plus haut et ai attendu. J'ai croisé une famille de touriste qui montait le chemin le long du chenal et qui se demandait ce que j'attendais là. J'espère qu'ils ont pu voir aussi le spectacle. Puis à 19h 45 j'ai pensé avoir le temps de descendre de l'autre côté du Rhône. En partant j'entendais que la lave descendait tout là haut. Je lui ai donné 25 minutes pour qu'elle arrive, d'après les pluies que j'avais vues elle ne devait pas être énorme. Elle en a fait 10. A 19h50 une pluie extrême que j'ai pu voir sur le radar par après avait touché le haut du bassin versant. A 20h05 elle se jetait dans le Rhône. J'ai eu juste le temps de placer une autre caméra et de sortir ma caméra mobile....
Par exemple maintenant 4 sept.16h30 si là haut ça continue, il se pourrait....
