Tammy, I just love you. You said, "Babussa Oil".. 😂 Bab-a-soo Oil 😅 I would love for you to go over Canva! I have been using Avery since 2016 and tried Canva in 2020 and it is very difficult to try after breezing thru Avery because I know it so well. 😜 🤔 Cheers & Blessings 👍🤗
LOL - yeah well me and English.... 😂 😂 😂 I hope to get this tutorial taped soon! Setting up my laptop and equipment takes me forever so I always find other things to do instead LOL
I don’t know what I’d do without Alexa. It keeps my hands free. I like Crothix too, it just works. I bought mine from Amazon, where do you get yours from? Thanks Tammy❤.
Hey Shannon - I want to say I get mine from Bramble Berry but the last time I bought it I think may have been from Make Your Own. Amazon is pretty expensive if I remember correctly but it's been awhile since I looked.
I just stumbled across your channel yesterday doing some research (I'm a relatively new hobbyist) and I've loved all the videos I've seen! The frosted bottles are beautiful, what a bummer they don't sell well. :(
Hi Junie! I'm so glad you are here!! Thanks for watching Yeah - those bottles are so pretty! Dang it LOL At least they are off my shelf and I probably won't bother with them again, it's a shame though
@@MommaJ lol - well it is probably that - every printer is different in how it feeds paper. I talked about that in my prev canva video but I don't know if I explained it well - let me know if you want me to go over it again and I will for sure do that!
Hey Tammy! Using your videos as I am delving into the liquid soap world. I've been making CP soap, lotions and other stuff for a while. When you say you use the crothix at 1-2%, is that 1-2% of the total amount of the liquid soap, or oil weight in the recipe? Thank you so much, and keep those videos coming!
oh good luck with your liquid soaps!! They can be a challenge but one thing I have learned is they are "almost" always salvageable with time (as long as the lye amount is correct). To answer your questions I use the total weight of soap. I usually split my soaps off for different scents and weigh that portion and then decide on how much crothix I need. I think adding too much and hurt the lather, and it also ups the cost as it isn't super cheap. thanks for watching my videos and welcome!!!🤗
I was just rumbling through the UGLS thinking I wanted to try one. Told the hubby I was gonna surf through your videos and find a couple liquid soap one to watch. Haha. (My house would rather have liquid soap in the bathroom and kitchen than a bar) thank you for this 💕💕 canva video would be amazing. I get somewhat overwhelmed with it. Tooooo many choices. Haha
Hi Lori! Aww that's sweet that you thought of me when deciding on a liquid soap to try - let me know which one you choose and how it went for you! Yep - Canva tutorial on the docket! 💗 💗 💗
Awww, thank you Tammy! I did buy the UGLS ( about a year ago 😳) but I haven't attempted a liquid soap yet. I can relate to where to store bottles! And it isn't just bottles, there is jars too. So to truly get into everything, you need a huge space. Oils, butters, clays, additives, bottles, jars, curing racks, etc... I love the frosted glass bottles but, I have to stop buying! LOL These really did turn out a beautiful color! Off Topic here but, when are you going to do a video on how your Covered Bridge show went. I'm patiently waiting (que Jeopardy music here) LOL Love ya!!! 💛💛💛💛💛
The first few liquid soaps I made were so intimidating to me! More so than any other product I have ever made and I probably threw out 4 batches!! (I know know that I could have salvaged them 🤦♀️ I hope to have my bridge video up tomorrow - I just need some time to upload it and do all that goes with that LOL Thanks for always being so interested and supportive - it means a lot! 💗 💗 💗
Hi Tammy! Have you had any issues with separation? Ive made 2 batches using recipes out of the book and both separated. One did okay until the temperature climbed. Everything came together fine in the crockpot and during dilution. Im at a loss. Ive asked questions in the facebook group. But not really much feedback. Ashley did answer. I think i had asked about emulsifiers. But everyone else ive watched never mentioned needing one.
Hi Laura, I haven't had any issues with separation until this year I had a weird instance where I think the fo may have separated out - I ended up giving them to friends. I don't know if it was just the fo itself that caused it or if maybe I just didn't get it blended well enough. You really shouldn't need an emulsifier with liquid soap. At what point did your separate on you? Maybe we can figure it out for you!
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique one Fo seperated within a week or 2 and another separated after the a/c was had been off and it got warm in the house. I have one other that never separated. Same batch as the 1st one. I just split the batch in half to use 2 different FO's.
Beautiful liquid soap and lotion! Yes! I would like to see a Canva tutorial on how to labels!🤗
Thanks Lisa! I hope to get to that tutorial very soon! 😃
Yes i love these and the labels.
So yes, a video on how you design them on canva.
Thank you
Thanks so much! Yep - will do canva video!
Yes ~ please make a video using Canva. I have it and haven’t used it yet.
of for sure Diana! I'm hoping soon to do that tutorial! 🤞🏻
Canva label design PLEASE!
Yes - a Canva tutorial for labels would be nice
I'm hoping to get to that this next month! 🤞🤗
Very nice! Yes, a Canva video, would be greatly appreciated. 😉
Coming soon Tara! - I hope LOL, actually it may be a few weeks. I always have these plans on doing videos and then something always comes up LOL

Please do a video on using canva I keep getting a white line on top or bottom even when it's centered on my label. Beautiful soap and labels.
Will do Maureen - so you get a white line when you print the image? are you printing from Avery or Online Labels after downloading from Canva?
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique I'm printing from maestro labels yeah even when its centered and when I move it up it goes to the bottom of label
@@MommaJ are you using the alignment wizard?

Have you tried using salt to thicken?
I have not had much success with salt to thicken so just stopped trying
Oh, the soap and lotion really do make a cute set!
How did you do at the Covered Bridge Festival?
Hi Andi! - I did really well at the festival - I have a video coming up - maybe tomorrow - thanks for asking 🥰

yes! and I actually have a fair amount of space, but I just don't want to take up the WHOLE House LOL

Usually, Liquid Germall Plus maximum usage is 0.5%. Don’t you think 1% is too much?
you are right of course, it is too much - 🤔🤓
