They're sure keeping a tight lid on this. I just stumbled up on it- haven't seen or heard anything on national coverage. What does this make now, six vessels since late March?

      - "They're sure keeping a tight lid on this."
Sure guy, that's why it's on the news.
      - "I just stumbled up on it- haven't seen or heard anything on national coverage."
... This is literally a news channel accessible from anywhere in the world thanks to the internet, and it's on plenty of others. What the actual fuck are you talking about?

And plenty every year before that. It might surprise you to learn that ships have been suffering from various technical problems for basically as long as ships have been around.

Saw this on facebook from a friend. I’m guessing because it didn’t hit or destroy the bridge it didn’t make major news.

Let me get this right. So you're saying that if shown the video without contextual information, you wouldn't be able to understand or make out a single thing from viewing?
      Anything at all?
Ease up tiger. I understand you may be frustrated by the lack of detail in this particular video, but that's all they could get with the device they had at hand and with the ship well past their destination. I can't speak for all, but I can easily tell there's water which looks to be a giant river, a large ship that's obviously moving faster than usual for the area it's in and much more. What do you want? A 4k multi camera angle including drone footage video by an average citizen who was in the area just after it passed the place they film from?
I suggest you have some gratitude in life. It costs nothing and is worth lot's in most situations. Be grateful for what you have and that others post videos that you can make out some of what's going on. In an event that you already likely know something about via news. Be well and be grateful. The more that we give, the more that we receive my friend. This starts with setting intentions and gratitude for what we have, coz someone out there has it so bad that the thought of time to watch UA-cam, let alone comment a complaint, is non existent. So is the idea of owning a device that can access the internet. They're too busy carrying drinking water (often less polluted than what's nearby which they still have to bathe in and wash stuff) and carry firewood for over an hour to many hours, each way, every single day. That's just the norm for over a billion people and the tip of a massive iceberg.
The vids not great, but I'm grateful that the poster could share what little they could frame from their location. Now it's off to get some higher quality, closer and better resolution vids of this potential VERY bad day.
