Yeah I was wondering why he had that figure or the meaning too it that's cool 😎 .
I loved no way home SO MUCH and then the end…I hate the memory loss trope. It just erased a bunch of the previous movies. Also he has no family or friends now, the head space someone would be in at that point would lead them to suicide (fr tho). But I digress on that. They shoulda had it where everyone forgets that Peter is Spider-Man, not forgetting that Peter exists at all. It was unnecessary and kinda ruined it for me.
@@bananaeclipse3324 They wanted to give him a clean slate similar to the ending of Spider-Man 1 but I have no doubt he’ll at least get Ned and MJ back in the next one lol

I really genuinely hope we get a scene with Peter and Bruce. Just like how Tony treated Bruce as a scientist first, then the Hulk; Peter being the smart nerd he is, he'd see Bruce as Dr. Banner. Not the Hulk at first
Here's to the future my friend. Not spoiling anything but with the events of No Way Home, there could be some lead way to see Peter and Bruce have an interaction as prior to the film, I do not think they officially met.
@@MindNumbingInc oh yeah I never noticed I dont think Spidey and Banner ever had a scene together at all. The closest is the final act of Endgame and even then they didn't interact at all.

This is going to sound really mean, but I love how broke Peter is. He doesn't even have enough money to reproduce the chemicals needed to make this web fluid at home; he just does it during that one class period and hopes nobody notices even though a world-renowned multi-billionaire looks after him like a son.

The fact that he made the webbing by himself is genius enough, but he made sure to compensate for tensile strength, not just from his weight and massive swinging, but also for his signature pulling, meaning Spider-Man usually pulls hard on the web when he fires it to get off the ground or towards a target while in mid-air, so the tensile strength has to compensate for that. Also, the adhesive has to dissolve, and he makes sure that it doesn't dissolve for an hour, but he has a spray for quick-dissolving. Additionally, the adhesive has to be strong enough to maintain to the walls when he's swinging else he's screwed. All this just makes Peter a bigger genius than he's given credit for.

I'm happy that the highschoolers in this movie don't look over the age of 999 years old.
@@nokomoko8832there is genuinely people like that in my highschool. They’re just disguised as basic racist white girls though.
It’s nice to see a movie where high schoolers aren’t 30 year olds
Edit: When I first made this comment i was just making a joke I didn’t want to start a war in the comments and I wasn’t targeting Sam Raimi's movie in particular I was targeting multiple movies mostly in the 90s and early 2000s
well now peter, M.J, Flash and Ned were 20 in this movie and Liz was 27. But still they look younger than Tobey.
The reason why they looked like 30 year olds in spider-man is because rami wasnt focusing on a high school comedy. Rami's trilogy was about peter being a man and not a kid
samad I’m pretty sure it was because Tobey Maguire was 27 and also a big part of peter is that he’s a kid so to just take it away is kinda strange but I do love the original Sam rainy movies in fact i wasn't even talking about him until you mentioned it
@@Ol_Lochy yep and the reason why he was cast is because raimi chose to make a Peter parker who was an adult. High school was never the focus for him

I dont think this is mentioned too often, but im glad they gave Peter a best friend- love the relationship between him and Ned. Easily my favorite change in the MCU regarding Spider-Man.
Call me crazy but I’d actually prefer if the few scenes by the end of no way home could actually focus just a little more on Ned instead, since the bro was there with Peter for one movie and a half more than MJ
@@LhLeo LMAO what? Yes you ARE crazy because that ending was perfect enough and there was no realistic way for Peter to interact with Ned AT ALL in a logical way without trying to rebuild his old life which Peter thankfully did the wise choice to let go instead of making up something that wasn’t truly authentic to what it was anyway. You are crazy for spewing that nonsense because there doesn’t need to be any more “few scenes” at ANY point of the ending No Way Home AFTER the spell has been casted. That would have just MASSIVELY ruined the moment and pacing and the Lego palpatine was MORE than enough to symbolize the friendship Peter and Ned had.
I love most of the changes in the MCU regrading Spider-Man because it’s done extremely well!

Spider-Man always starts off as a teenager aka 15 years old, so I’m glad they decided to really show that here.
Yeah, that's kinda my problem with Tobey's Spider-Man. It was made even worse when everyone on the train saw his face, and someone said he looked the same age like that person's son. If they knew Tobey looked older than he should be, why would they still include that line? It really ruined the immersion.
@@inigoadinatha7897 LMAO what? Tobey did NOT "looked older than he should be. AT ALL, they said and included that line because they wanted to highlight out young spiderman really he and he could have been anybody. Tobey did NOT "looked older than he should be", it was included to show he looked very young and that people realize that spiderman is just a very young guy/kid compared to what people thought he would be. You're not making any sense sense here at all and NOTHING was "made worse" NOR should anything have "rUineD tHe ImMersIoN" at all.

sonic heroes yeah but his early high school days it wasnt like that. When he came to college he started being a chick magnet
now we know someone had
Well, mj¿
Well MJ has a crush on him + while Liz (a popular girl) didn't exactly have a crush on him, she kinda liked him/respected him and also said yes to him
The feeling when you're the smartest and strongest kid in school.

Man this is the only scene in all MCU that shows peter making his gadgets all by herself and not using stark technology for it.
herself? LMAO
Didn't know Peter was a girl
Then watch civil war,Tony acknowledged the fact that he made his suit and web by HIMSELF. He provided him stark tech because he was about to fight captain America.
Damn. Peter is secretly a female
With what money?
this scene hits different after no way home.
I love how they modernized the high school theme big time. This was far more accurate than almost any other depiction of high school I've seen.
Especially the fact that if some cheerleaders made some snide remark about something you're geeking out about, you just ignore them or tell them to shut up and get a hobby and then keep geeking out. None of that "sorry I'm a nerd" bullshit they've done for so long.
Hell, we had a football player who was in band and was having trouble deciding between football (which our school was meh) and marching band (12th in the nation when I was there). He was a great guy who went into software development.
Times have changed, and I'm glad Marvel is reflecting it.
Tarnished Twinky Marvel and sony
The only thing I dislike that movies still do with public schools is... what's up with all the kids just... loitering? I've been out of high school for like 4 years now but there were never just people hanging out by bleachers or the track field. Everyone was busy getting to class because we only had a few minutes to do so. Even during lunch, we only had like 30 minutes to eat. But in movies you'll see students having a whole ass picnic out in the fields lol.
@@hippo440 it's actually disney and sony. They had a partnership to make this movie work. They renewed the deal for the third film coming in 2021
@@alexc6414 dude you have no idea how many people just walk the halls and loiter during class and I'm in highschool currently. They (as in the teachers) literally just don't care anymore. I've seen people sit in the hallways even though they're told not to. 😂
@@despicablepenguin At my school the administration were assholes. Confiscated someone's earbuds in the hallway and then the fuckers cheered about it like they just busted Pablo Escobar.
Funfact: the reason this portrayal of high school is more accurate is cuz Tom Holland actually went to a american high school undercover to prepare for this film
Oh yeah he told a girl their that the reason he got in was because he was spiderman
Lol and Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield actually went to high school in America for 7 years.

All the school news scenes in these movies with Betty and Jason are golden. The awkward acting is perfect.
**MAKES WEB FLUID**
Tell me how no one noticed?
dna actually looks quite a bit like the fluid. might have done it during bio section.
(dna also looks like something else ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°))
@Jonathan Lumbreras sper *cough* blood
the other kids are probably really focused on their own experiments
Teachers never care
More like chemistry class 😂
Peter making web fluid in class damn that’s risky 😂
You are right
to begin with this glass is overfilled so closing it fast would toss some of it around. I know what they wanted to show, but:
1. Actually at my school best chem student has spare keys to lab
2. It's after Tony recruited him I believe so he had whole Stark labs.
@@Petaurista13 No, Peter had only been to a Stark Industries faculty once: For the picture that Tony had with him and Peter by his sink (if you want to count the Avengers Compound, then go ahead.) Peter had been making web fluids by himself for over 8 months up to that point, maybe Peter was just looking for a new way to make his webs even stronger by adding new compounds to it.
@@SpFlash1523 I believe he would have access if he ask
Why does Peter use webshooters? Doesn’t the webs come naturally from his wrist?
I love that he makes his own webs while being only 14, yet people are made cause his not a tailor so it was harder for him to make a good spider suit.
Watch tis aftr NWH...makes me sad for peter for lost his buddy Ned n his love MJ
I didn't notice the first few times I watched the movie the ROTC kid sitting next to Peter. That's something you never see in high school shows and movies. Props to them for realism.
@Isiedru Pangelinan Oof you're right, but no movies ever really get uniform right. I still appreciate the effort and I think it's still pretty cool.
Lmao I caught that and was so confused as to why somebody was wearing a uniform in school??? You’d never see something like that in Canada, it’s comes off as a little pretentious.
garrofwar148 Nah, in the US, it's pretty common for schools to have a JROTC program for one of the branches of the service. I always wondered if other countries had it. Cool little difference you only get by exposure or exposure to accurate media.
As an ROTC kid, it made me smile a bit
Tom Holland's best friend actually has a cameo in the background at 1:42 as an ROTC student.
You know, watching this makes his death in Infinity War that much more heartbreaking. He's a perfectly normal teenager who gets roped into a battle with the Mad Titan.
Hold on a minute. Peter chose willingly to go to Titan.
He would've died either way. He doesn't die because of Thanos's attacks, he dies because of the snap.
@@LilyTengoku yeah but the algorithym might not have dusted him if he was in a different area of the universe. Its a lottery based on population DENSITY. Not based on pure luck or destiny. Half of earth was wiped out. Half of titan was wiped out, but there were a hell of a lot less people on titan. If it isnt about population density, then entire planets should have been wiped out statistically while others were completely untouched. So i think its on a per-planet basis. 7 billion on earth and 3.5 billion disappear. 20 people on titan and 10 people disappear. 100 people on a ship and 50 disappear.
@@rorschachsjournal2084 Well I don't know, Nidavellir lost all but one citizen. I think it takes the universe's population, not singular planets.
@@LilyTengoku the dwarves were killed by thanos, not the snap. And it was to force them to make the gauntlet. It was a means to an end. But thanos learly only wants to kill half the population of every planet just like what he did yo Gamoras planet and all the other planets he conquered.
