They literally just redid the whole UI and this is a brand new mode not story mode. And we got this after a getting a CRK style video about the update. There is literally nothing implying it's doing bad. If anything it's doing very well if the amount of people beating me in the Competitive modes and having this much effort put into it. Just because people gave it a bad shake doesn't mean it's failing.
I really hope that whatever is going on with the cutscenes is just a one off thing, because out of all games wc most definitely had the best art direction in my eyes and I don’t want to see it go 😭

I don't care if you like witch's castle or not but they literally said the First Sagas are a new side mode in the update video. It's not dying because one mode doesn't have voice acting and they didn't add cut scenes like story mode.
It most likely is. This game is most likely the least game out of the Cookie Run games (except Puzzle World) to make the least revenue, as most players don’t choose to support the game financially, which is why this game has no voice acting in cutscenes, and only Korean in cutscenes and voice lines. Sadly, the game may shut down or become like Puzzle World next year.

For the new story, since it doesn’t have a voice over, some pieces of the English dub remain, in which are the sound effects used by Gingerbrave, Gingerbright, Wizard, and Strawberry, which have been used in the game since launch.

No voice acting and no simple animations 😭 sudden introduction of Milky Way is also hinting that this game is not doing well at all
