A new ribbon and roll of paper will give you exactly 400 prints. With dye-sub it does not vary from image to image, each picture uses the same amount of ribbon. Let us know if you have any questions.
Robert Bjork The ribbon and paper are sold together so it's best to keep them matched up. However, 6x8 media and 4x6 media both use 6 inch paper, so even though the ribbons are different, the paper is the same.

Give us a call and we can set up a tech ticket for you and try to trouble shoot. It could be a media mismatch or a bad ribbon chip.

if i want to print 4x6 then 5x7 i have to change the roll paper or i have to buy one to print 4x6 and one 5x7?
Does it print 4x6 and 6x9 on the same rool of paper or do you have to change it?

would be nice if changing out the paper and ribbon was all you needed to do, purchased 5x7 kit and it stops working, no instructions included
Yeah. Some how I can not find 1 clip on youtube to load the 5x7 paper.
Why happens if it doesn't spit out the 4 after you reload it??
