I love hearing about what these kids are doing! We were very involved with the Sugar Bowl Ski Team and Academy near Truckee, CA with our own kids (who were alpine skiers). I always enjoyed watching the Nordic program kids as they were all such amazing, hardworking, and dedicated athletes!
Very cool kids…hopefully my 14 year old daughter will experience Nordic at their level one day! Nothing gives me more faith in humanity than Nordic kids! Head bowed from Durango!
Gus was over-raced last season, and struggled in February and March. It doesn’t appear he has recovered this season. Same thing happened to Katharine Ogden a few years back. A very talented skier who hasn’t fulfilled her potential. Hopefully Gus doesn’t end up on the same path.
