Thank you for this lecture. I only know who Teilhard de Chardin is because you taught me through Yale's Religions and Ecology Specialization program.

Wonderful lecture! I love the thought that we reached the ultimatum of diversification, & now it's heading toward unification... the unification is happening through communication technology, but on the level of heart, consciousness, spirituality there doesn't seem to be any unification... only material destructive competition!

I first heard of Tielhard in 1988 when I told a Jesuit about a supernatural experience I had after which he said ' you sound like Plato, Catherine of Sienna and Tielhard'.....

He taught new age and his books could not be sold in Catholic book stores. He also talked about being possessed by a fireball of light that said it would be damned along with him or be saved with him. This does not sound like the holy spirit.

The physical body exists because of when duality. Try coming up with a definition of “medium” if “small” and “Large” don’t exist. You can’t. Nothing quantifiable can exist if it can’t be quantified. The very definition of emptiness is consciousness that has nothing to be conscious of. Karma is a duality. It is the unrepentant consequence of ill gotten actions taken and/or thoughts made. It causes a material presence until the duality is resolved.

Teilhard was a mystic. His vision was mystical. As is often the case, those who are not mystics generally misconstrue the mystic's message. One coming out of a pure sense of Divine Love and Oneness. As a result, the cognitive bias of this panel (represented as futurism, transhumanism, and Catholicism) all appear to have reinterpreted Teilhard's mystical genius in accordance with their respective paradigms.
A similar thing occurred centuries ago when the identity and message of a Jewish mystic rabbi (Master Yeshua bar Yoseph), was somehow reconfigured by a non-mystical orthodoxy into a religious icon and theological construct now known as Jesus Christ. The Jewish mystical iconoclast has now become the central religious icon of Christianity... and the beat goes on.

For your approval: Teilhard de Chardin was right about many of the assumptions he had theorized. I'm not sure if he recognized what my discoveries have led me to conclude though. Thomas Jefferson had predicted this moment as well. Jefferson created a living Government based on the Foundation of OUR country's Democratic Republic. This Foundation was established, and the wheels were put into motion with the words "Perfect Union" as the goal of our General Public. This created a living government, that Jefferson recognized as being unique. In Thomas Jefferson's Notes on Virginia, Jefferson was able to predict the rise of Donald Trump, Moneymakers that I consider our Federal Reserve and Wall Street Bankers, as well the Federalists and Republicans' rise to power, which now has our Republic splintered. Our future is almost upon us, and America is at a crossroads. I've laid out a plan to achieve World Peace, with New Year as a target date, and total disarmament of organized military by 2024 elections. From my studies, all the signs point to our children as the inheritors of our efforts for the perfect union. Jefferson recognized one major hurdle, and that was accountability, which is provided by our children while reinforcing our infrastructure, while they grow. The key to Chardin's idea behind the evolution of his theory is to pursue your destiny, as a way to maintain a healthy infrastructure. By having children chasing their dreams, they will stimulate our economy. This creates tax revenue, and the only thing a government needs to survive is a tax base to maintain a healthy infrastructure. All our children need to pursue their dreams is a healthy infrastructure.

Teilhart was actually sounding like a scientist in his writings with an accurate understanding of evolution, geology and zoology. It isn't mystical balble or postmodern idealist pseudoscience of the Sokal style. The speakers in the video, unlike him, sound like unscientific idiots.

@@Juliet04738 One who is rejected by an antichrist kingdom of the world and desire, which Chardin says his omega point requires, and throws out 60% of the book and the discipline and discernment of the church fathers, who obviously had strong mystical practices, meditation and a sophisticated philosophy that integrated some eastern thought, Neoplatonic and stoic philosophy with participation. For Chardin and these people, those saints and teachings have to be thrown out to prevent any discernment to mystic experience and present Christianity as something bereft of this type of meaning structure, so it’s up to people like Chardin and the New One World Religion ( and egalitarian mothiestic government, or supranational institution) to give us. If you want to quote scriptures, than admit you are cherry-picking a part of it, and throwing out what you don’t like, to attack people as if they don’t live up to the Christian standard you want to transcend anyways.
