These storytellers, called Akyn in Kyrgyzstan, are a central element of Central Asian culture. They went across the country and told stories and legends in chants and with music, for example with a Sybyzgy.

Richie does not own the rights to the songs he sings so has no say in who gets to sing them or when. Whether Dimash can continue to sing the song depends on whether he has licensed rights to perform it or if he just had single-use permission from Lionel's "company" (which is ASCAP, who re-signed with him in 2016). Copyright law (under which such things fall) varies a bit from country to country but there are some international agreements as well. In any case, I agree: it's too bad we haven't heard Dimash do this in other settings. It's the licensing agencies like ASCAP and the Russian RAO who have control over that.

The Hoax, "Swallow my Pride". The Hoax is a British-Blues Rock group that has achieved a huge following and has played with many of the Blues-Rock legends. This song is 10 minutes with great vocals by Hugh Colton, a smooth intro on the guitar, and a intoxicating harmonica solo in the middle, also by Hugh Colton.
