Great Circle has been such an awesome adventure so far. Haven't been able to put it down. Just arrived at the jungle location. I am going to be sad when this is over, but then DLC story probably coming in a year.
I know I’m dating myself but when I went to see the first movie in theaters I’m sure it wasn’t called Indiana Jones, think it was called Raiders of the Lost Ark
This game was incredible. As a 42 yr old, the greatest compliment I can give this game and my experience with it, is it made me feel like a kid again. I was filled with wonder and awe. I was anticipating what was around every corner. I was laughing at all the funny Indiana tropes like the loot always gets stolen away from him right after he gets it. Just a fantastic experience top to bottom for me.
I was iffy on the game but your vid sold me, downloading as I type lol , Side note - happy it’s 1st person, other wise I’d be worried it would feel to much like tomb raider / uncharted. Excited to get it in my hands either way tho
I just got to the Himalayas and I just feel so immersed as Indy, absolutely love it, some minor issues but they’re nothing compared to the overall experience
Surprised I'm really liking this game because I wanted it to be in third I didn't care I'fvit would be a uncharted or tomb raider clone but 1st is working well and I understand why they did it
Making this game 1st person POV was a bold decision. If they'd done 3rd person only, we would've all complained that it feels like a Tomb Raider / Uncharted rip off. They knew what they were doing.
"Indiana Jones and the Great Circle" is a great to partly even amazing game in fact, but it's still NOT the best Indiana Jones-Game ever made - that medal is still taken by the timeless LucasArts Point & Click-classic that is "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis" and since the "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" game takes the second spot, "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle" pans out to be the third-best Indiana Jones-Game ever made. (so far)
I guess I’m in the minority here but I’m finding this game kinda boring. It’s mostly walking around searching for stuff. The puzzles are very simple. The combat is as basic as it gets. I was never big on Indiana jones. Idk I think this is another dud from Bethesda.
Let this game be known for what it is: An adventure game where you get to play Indiana Jones discovering treasures and beating up Nazis. No woke agenda, no playing stupid to the gamers, just a real adventure!
They inserted a lesbian girl boss and a female companion that patronizes and basically just tells you how to do puzzles, as well as making Voss a closeted gay. Seems pretty woke to me. Granted, it’s less woke than most modern games; it’s subtle.
When does this game get fun? I’ve played through the “Raiders“ opening, Marshall College, and just started Rome. Nothing has hooked me in or piqued my interest.
It might be the best Indian jones game but it’s still hot garbage and plays like they made it on weekends while drinking. So many bad gameplay mechanics that I can’t list them all. This game plays like it should be rented from blockbuster
@ you seem like someone who hasn’t played many recent games or is mostly a mobile gamer so let’s start with the basics. The map is basically impossible to read or navigate with but works under the journal tab and is still a horrible map, crouching what’s with the shadow in the corners of the screen while crouched not to mention when crouched his hands look like he’s trying to swim across concrete. Characters like WTF Gina just walks off for no reason or doesn’t walk at all. Not to mention her getting stuck in a doorway, using the whip and swinging and falling to your death because the camera angle changes and you can’t see the landing. Combat is absolutely the worst part of this game. Even the devs admitted that this wasn’t designed for gamers. I suggest you try some other games besides Mario cart.
@@mcfuggin.1620 monkey ive been playing games since 1982, longer than you've been alive... the map might be impossible for YOU to read, I read it just fine...combat might be hard for YOU to get the hang off, its easy for me, cos I know what im doing.... the camera doesnt change for me, I dont fall to my death... so I suggest just lean to play games property
@@mcfuggin.1620I agree for the most part. I find myself running around from task to task holding the map the whole time and just waiting for the level to be over. The combat requires zero skill. I don’t understand why you have to turn a key every time to unlock a door, it should just open. The only good part of this game is the theme and the voice acting. Bethesda really sucks lately.

I have finished the game from early access and I am going for second playthrough. The best games ever.
im doing a quick runthrough right now but definitely going to restart and do all the side quests
They’re back🤘”welcome home, old boys”
Better than TT Games' masterpiece: LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures?! 🤯
The Lego games I meant for kids do you not get that?

I’m not able to play it myself, but I’ve been waiting for you guys to make a video on it since it came out. Great review, sounds and looks great!

It’s really immersive. The environments alone are worth being first person
Only reviews I want to hear are from true Indy fans. So glad we finally got a game like this
I just got to the Himalayas and I just feel so immersed as Indy, absolutely love it, some minor issues but they’re nothing compared to the overall experience
Finally finished downloading tonight, shouldn’t be up this late playing it but oh well

Love u guys, great review
The Indiana Raging Rancors are back baby!
One of the best games ive played in a while
I have to be honest, I'm glad budget wasn't wasted on Harrison Ford
Best indy game ever
Best xbox game in years
It is my goty. Its so good👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Every once in a while, i give up on gaming cause they are getting worse and worse. But this game is nothing short of a masterpiece.
I called myself trying the game out next thing I know it’s 5hrs later. 😂

So it's a 4th "movie".......with janky stealth and "combat" and some basic button prompts to let people know that it is a "game".
Can you also play in 3rd person?
No, it's first person, but in some instances, it does automatically switch to third person when swinging from his whip, for example.

Fate of Atlantis.is better
I played the game & I liked the game but I still say it should’ve been 3rd person
It has been made to work as mostly 1st person though.
Completely disagree. It’s so damn immersive in first person.
@ wouldn’t be any less in 3rd person
its very slow burn its too slow for me I've played about 4-5 hours I want moreaction

Gotta cringe every time someone mentions woke agenda, as if there aren’t hundreds of games out there that are apolitical.

Once you start going off the beaten path and exploring and seeing what kind of shit you can get into. Super immersive exploration.
It doesn’t. All these reviewers are a bunch of fanboys and the commentators just go along with it. Another Bethesda flop.
@@neversour yes. it's all a conspiracy. a game can't be good - it's impossible.

wtf are you even talking about...? name some of these "bad gameplay mechanics"
