Those Calico hets are INSANE!!! That first one is super expressive on the calico, and the second one looks paradox with how blown up the pattern gets on the end! I wonder if calico is the ticket to keeping clowns from fading out so much in adulthood. I'm flabbergasted, you get some incredible combos, truly the best in the business.

Sugar Clowns are awesome. Enchi seems to really pump up the sugar look in visual clowns (just like it does without the clown gene). I made some pastel enchi sugar clowns a few seasons back that will go into some of my redstripe and spotnose clown stuff this/next season. I feel like there is definitely lots to do with sugar clowns, but definitely some genes pump up the sugar and some leave it somewhat subtle. Still exploring and that is the great part about this hobby.

I had a calico/sugar spotnose pop up out of nowhere in my batman pairing so I'm calling it the Kellico and it's het clown to boot 🤘🏻
Another Awesome production from JKR! I too plan on working almost the project as you showed in this video. A few months back I started to see the potential of Calico, red stripe, and black pastel in Banana and decided to work these genes in. When I am able to start breeding, I will update with what direction I am taking the project in. I Will say this, I am not working these genes into Clown. not yet. Got another recessive I will start with first!
I just had a calico clutch. Pastel calico x banana fire clown. Got 4 calico het clown combos. 3 are male banana calico combos so

Those are stunning, can you imagine a Campfire Clown? That Sugar Spotnose Redstripe Yellwbelly Het Clown is something I'm currently working on, also trying to add OD and Calico. I really want to produce some Campfires but I can't find the recipe anywhere, specially after Ben passed it seems to just disappear. I have it written down in my mountain of notes but who knows how many binders or notebooks back that is, I just dated myself ha! Amazing stuff as always Justin, keep up the incredible work!
One of my favorite clown projects! I have a Sugar Yellowbelly Clown female that will be ready this upcoming season I’m pairing with an Asphalt Enchi Het Clown male. Hoping for the worlds first Sugar Enchi Freeway Clown!!! 😅

Absolutely love the babies from this clutch... the first egg was my favorite one but the last egg the banana RS sugar pos yellowbelly clown definitely gave it a run for its money.. I’m getting into the calico for pieds but definitely looking forward to getting it into clowns as well

Not in the sugar/calico clown stuff but it's an awesome project. It's probably in my next 10 or so genetics to add eventually....Takes time to add so many morphs when they're mostly all amazing to work with!

😂 wow I didn’t know sugar was a line of calico, I think sugar looks good w banana. Maybe like champagne the sugar line may create ringers especially when crossed w other genes but champagne does it especially when het for pied

for whatever reason when you add Calico to a Clown with Pastel it makes a much brighter yellow Pastel Clown. the and they hold that color well into adulthood. the Calico itself doesn’t show, only near the tail.. but it def seems to enhance the color.
