Sumatra is so much bigger than most people realise
I fly from jakarta in java but close to the bottom of sumatra to banda aceh at the top of Sumatra it was almost 3 hours flight
for a standalone island without land border, it's the largest. But still the Indonesian portion of Borneo (Kalimantan) is the largest area.
