The fact is we are all living in the aftermath of the past and we blacks as much as we have been given opportunities for the past 30 years to catch up to our non-black counterparts but the reality is they have more than a hundred years head start and we can never truly catch up. The sad thing is the politicians we've entrusted with our voices go make secret agreements with each other for their benefit, forgetting what we have mandated them to do 😢😢
Top priority : 1) Take your personal priorities and put it in your back pocket. 2) Forget about ideologies and put South Africa first. 3) Then only will the jobs come because of investors confidence. 4) Then everything else will come, with jobs people earn a living and contribute to the fiscus.with jobs people pay for services and service delivery can be enhanced. Otherwise we are doomed to failure.

Great interview Naledi!!

There's a lot of disagreement among the people about who would be the best coalition, but it seems a lot of that is race-based. I hope whatever the coalition might be formed, that it will drive the needed change for the country and all its people. I hope it will be a step towards unity and embracing the diversity of our country. Let's give this new government the benefit of the doubt and leave our judgment for the next elections.
You must be one of those who got the 30% maths pass, the entire white population is 8% total not all of whom are eligible to vote so for them to get where they did would require voters of all races to say nothing of the ANC % and the IFP voters who would most likely be black. Get a refund on your school fees and stop framing everything by race, perhaps people are wanting a party and govt that is competent and not corrupt and will serve the people instead of them thinking we are there to finance their lifestyles even though it is comletely undeserved based on their lack of service delivery.
Until there is economic justice for the masses, which unfortunately the DA is not willing to do, there will never be unity when they believe in oppressing another in order to thrive. The clock is ticking, it's inevitable now!
@@RubaJust I would love to know what you envision this economic justice is supposed to look like. Can you elaborate what it is you expect?
@@goranrobson6243 real Black economic empowerment, not just employment but access to capital for business. No economic exclusion in the form of being charged higher interest rates. We want REAL economic transformation not this policies constructed by the ANC's handlers to keep the majority dependent on gov and in poverty. We want real empowerment, not rdps amd of course the land issue must be addressed, access to land, access to means of production, markets.

@DumaM-ir7rk that is why we need real transformation. That model gives you just enough to stay on the hampster wheel while they rest at the beach front enjoying the resources of this land as the minority! What an INJUSTICE! It must be corrected!

Withe DA, ANC and great people with them, you will see the rand go up. Petrol goes down. Food goes down. Crime goes down. Give them time. We will have a great country again. Remember the people chosen in cabinet must vote for the best person for the job.
Proverbs 11:14

Everyone needs to understand that Ramaphosa must go, he is the one that has brought all the miserly and failure of the economy on the people of South Africa, now he is in place to rectify the problems him and his clowns has introduced, he is corrupt and Phala Phala has proved this and his failure to take action as per the Zondo Commission has indicated his lack of accountability because him himself is guilty.
Ramaphosa must go, and his deputy I'm sorry.
We have to rid the government of criminals, if you have a sword hanging over your head, you cannot take any post in government.

Thanks ANC, for selling us out once again. 😢
I don't like the DA ,I didn't vote for them. But that said maybe it's a good thing, the ANC needs to learn a lesson here. The freedom fighters didn't die for stealing and looting. Maybe when the ANC ,IFP and DA work together then the stealing and looting can be minimized if not stopped all together. Alone the ANC can't be trusted. In Zuma Gupta era more than R50BILLION rand was stolen from us the people. Poverty crime and unemployment only gets higher and higher because of this stealing and looting. The EFF and MK are basically brothers of the ANC ,South Africa needs change for the better. We need the stealing and looting to stop in order to then be able to alleviate poverty and right the wrongs of apartheid. 🇿🇦

@@LollyClarke History is important. It is to be learnt from. If we forget it, we run a greater risk of repeating it.
Now, I don't know what the phrase "living in the past" really entails, but when I use history to inform my perspective of the world, it sure does help chart a way forward. Perhaps you live your life differently, not using history to add to your perspective, but that's how you choose your life and perhaps you should think twice before you prescribe that sort of narrow lifestyle to other people.
