This is a great well thought out invention! I love seeing people’s solutions to unique problems. If I was in a situation that needed this I would definitely get it. Just need some waterfront property now.😂. Appreciate you showing this. Thanks a lot! 👍👍👌
When housing market normalizes check out Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda,& Cape Coral area for affordable waterfront gulf/ocean access homes under $275k. 😉
Haha…awesome! It was cool meeting you guys. Good luck fishing! Maybe will see you at local fishing pier sometime. Tomorrow I’m targeting sheepshead for fun. I’m testing various crab lures to see which works best….maybe for TikTok. 🤷♂️
I am sure they have a solution that could work for you. Definitely use discount promo code: KayakDIY Here is another video I made showing mine on my seawall. My canal is tidal and sometimes has very far drop. The float keeps the cradle always at the perfect height for kayak launching. ua-cam.com/users/shortsQ-5J5L4GlEU?feature=share
My biggest concern is theft. Hate to have a 5 or 6k Kayak just sitting out at the end of my dock only being held down by a nylon strap. Does he have a solution for theft?
A thief can steel anything. However, you can totally run steel cables through kayak scuppers or pedal drive wells. That is what I would try. Also security cams like Wyze are $30 and I use them to protect my kayaks. You can also put air tags on kayaks or things you want to protect.
Great vid thanks for the info.. was wondering if you’ve come across any company that makes kayak mounts specific for a boat lift… I have a dual wave runner lift with decking.. however I only have 1 waverunner.. would like to use that 2nd bunk to mount a pair of kayaks.. I’ve been googling away to no avail as of yet… Thanks much.
I would just do aluminum decking planks and lower boat lift into water just deep enough to float kayaks. Maybe have tether system to clip kayaks in place so they don’t float away when raising lift. Tons of ways you could build something.
There is a optional aluminum grab handle. This is by far the best kayak launch that takes up the least amount of valuable dock space. Waterfront property is expensive so you don’t want too large of a launch…many waterfront home owners want boats, sailboats, and other toys so they need the dock space for other stuff like boat lifts. Floating Ezdock is the best for kayaks, but it is huge and would leave less room for power boats and other fun toys.

Mine is their double cradle setup and I have fishing kayaks 34” wide. If you don’t get info via website I would call them. They are an awesome company. They have a lot of other awesome products too! I really like their sliding cleat system for docks in tidal environments.

How do you get in and out of the kayak on the far side?
