Wow! Thanks for showing Algonquin National Park! It is really great to see the beautiful nature around us. I really wanted to go recently, however now I can just watch from here!
Really beautiful 😊 Subscribed 👍 By the way, my longest hike in one day was 10 hours. Don’t know how many kilometers. Wouldn’t recommend it 😂 It was in the Jotunheimen mountain range in Norway 🇳🇴
That is pretty long hike. I know that long hikes are very tiring... but memory stays forever! BTW, nice vids, do you have to keep dog on the leash in your area?
@@lvfreeAdventures You have to keep them on a leash between April 1st and August 20th, not the rest of the year. But my dog is a Siberian Husky, and they are notorious "runaways", and can create a lot of havoc 😬 So we keep him on a leash year round.
Thank you for this beautiful video. I live about an hour south of Ottawa and have done all the nice hikes of the Gatineau park. I was looking for something more exiting to do and found the Luskville falls trail and did it twice in the past month , but found it a bit too short. This hike seems to be the perfect one for me. Thank you for introducing Algonquin park for to me. I will be there as soon hopefully this coming weekend. Could you please post the information about the trail head and how to get there from Ottawa ? The park seems very vast and I am not familiar with it. I will appreciate it brother.
This is awesome trail, one of the best in Algonquin park - but also a bit challenging especially when weather is not dry. Here are details: Centennial Ridges Road, south of Highway 60. It's about 3.5 hrs from Ottawa - Highway 417 and then Highway 60. I would suggest to stop at information center when you enter Algonquin park and ask for map - they will provide all info and map.
When you drive on Highway 60 - there is a Centennial Ridge Road going south, it is close to Lake of Two rivers. When you drive on Centennial Ridge Road - the parking on the left side, you won't miss it. Yes, you have to have daily permit to park in Algonquin, you can buy online or in the office on Highway 60
3 things I dislike in hiking videos, 1 music, 2 incessant chattering, 3 camera constantly focused on vlogger instead of the beautiful views ..you didn't do any of that. A huge thanks. You have new subscriber!

Thanks a lot!
So amazing the beauty of nature, happy to see this forest...the air is clean 💙

Thanks for sharing the video. Very impressed that you guys did that in one day.
It was a long hike since there was a lot of mud on the trail... but it was awesome trail
I did it when I was 15 with my family and sister who was 12 at the time. It’s a bit of a trek but it’s not that bad
Brings back memories of rock lake thanks for sharing
You are welcome, one of our favorites in Algonquin

Thank you again. This is exactly what I needed.
Happy trails.
Where did you park? Did you have to book a daily vehicle permit?

Mizzy lake was the longest for me. Haven't yet done the centennial ridge trail.
It's a great trail, but it is better to go when the ground is not wet from the rain.
How much time did it take for you to complete this hike?
It took us about 5 hours, a bit longer than expected because trail was muddy at that time and we spent sometime to film and enjoy some spots
@@lvfreeAdventures Thank you for letting us know! 👍
Hello! I couldn't find any information about this, but is one able to camp overnight here?
Yes, they have many camping sites. You can make reservation on this site www.ontarioparks.com/en , select Algonquin park
