Because it is a Swedish car. Where it is manufactured is where the factory is but it will also be made int he USA. But the work that was done on this car was done in Sweden. Polestar is a Swedish brand, and offshoot of Volvo. While they were acquired by Geely they were still left to develop and spec their own cars.
Paying for the spec. Find a car with active dampers active torque vectoring an active decoupling mech and air suspension for less than 80k. There isn't one. This spec from the Germans would be north of 100k
