Satori Maiden being tied for my favourite theme, i feel like it really lends itself to jazz quite well, despite not being an avid jazz listener otherwise. It's normally got this (gothic) noir flair, and this arrangement certainly got that nailed.
BaguettesEnsemble is quite the underrated one. They definitely need more recognition! All of their albums are great, including their non-Touhou works (kancolle, vocaloid) Thanks for shedding light on this circle!
i absolutely despise slow jazz (or jazz overall, its rare for me to like anything of that genre), but if you want me to listen to it....i mean with such a "specific" (somewhat depeessed sounding) description i cant refuse also congrats on getting the frequent uploader imaginary medal :D (ok yeah, i did giggle, just not softly, sorry about that)
Electroswing is the closest I can go to jazz on my normal playlist, but it's hard to describe how it feels going through 500+ tracks most of which are pop and electronic just to land on a track like this. It's begging me to listen all the way through just to see if there's anything to it. So I appreciate that you stayed despite not being a fan of the genre. :>
Haha that's fair :D I'm trying to think of a genre I hate and it might be gospel or country, but I'm sure if you slap gospel and touhou together I'll love it anyway heh.
@@MSDK_DARKDRAGON #7 on the gems playlist is the only country touhou song I've heard, but even that one isn't exactly what I mean. Is "bluegrass" a thing? I think that's the stuff I have trouble listening to.
