    Hey buddy im working on the same project, you gave me the inspiration. Did you happen to use a 046 big bore 54mm piston?
    I clearanced the flywheel and cut the cylinder skirt to fit in the case. Now, I'm just waiting on a piston. Hoping thats what you used because thats what i ordered😂

      About .100" from the base and .200" from the case. Be careful about going into the oil tank

    why did you use the 61 carburetor instead of the 288 carb?

      Some carburetors perform better than others. Even the same model carb. The 61 carb used made great power with good throttle response. Also I didn't have a 288 carb at the time 😅
