I don't know if it was intentional, but it's funny that Gray chose pink for the dominate color in this mansion. See, some prisons actually have "pink rooms" where they put inmates that are being aggressive in order to calm them down. Pink is believed to have calming properties, but in fact it usually had the opposite effect- making the inmates more angry after prolonged stays in the pink rooms. Something about being locked in a place painted like a little girl's bed room was upsetting to them, it seems. Fitting for a scenario where the sims are all being held against their will until they die of anger lol

TL;DR: It makes it seem like the GraySimsVerse has a continuity, and that the Sims are becoming meta-aware of it somehow. Both of those things are cool. Unlikely, but cool. Because (a) that would be a reference back to the early days of Gray's Sims 4 series, if that's what she was painting, (b) that would seem to indicate that all of these weird things DID happen, and in the same continuity somehow, and (c) the (living!) Sims know about it. So it's like the town is building its own weird history...
TL;DR: It makes it seem like the GraySimsVerse has a continuity, and that the Sims are becoming meta-aware of it somehow. Both of those things are cool. Unlikely, but cool.
