Powerful insight on vile attacks from the adversary. You've always got amazing eye-opening jaw-dropping content, I love it! Thanks brother Jones. ❤❤❤

Too bad this Story is not the WHOLE STORY. The Real Story is that Joseph Smith was a moneydigger....AFTER the claimed "First Vision" and WHILE "Moroni" was supposedly tutoring young Joseph. The moneydigging was some of the "sin" Joseph admitted to getting involved with. THAT IS NOT FAITH PROMOTING...and was NEVER TAUGHT AT CHURCH....finally acknowledged post 2010.

My favorite part of that whole story is one you left out. The prophet of the Lord couldn’t tell they were forgeries. Apparently god didn’t feel like telling him.

Gross misunderstanding of how revelation works.

@@joaop.barata6062 What do you mean? Does God not speak with His prophets?

@@awesome3139 God does not do for Men, what Men can do for themselves. That's part the principle of sanctification, and it's all over the scriptures. Prophets are men, and therefore subject to the same. God also gives line upon line, precept upon precept. That applies to prophets since Adam too. Bar some exceptions, God never reveals anything to the prophet that the prophet didn't seek revelation on. And even when the prophet seeks revelation, God will give it at His own time. Again, this is all over the scriptures.
Prophets are just good men with a special calling, they're not any more special than anyone else. The principles of revelation that apply to the rest of us, apply to them also.

@@Mustardmanor we learn there were spirits in the pre-existence that were greater than others, and that prophets were chosen from amongst the greatest, but once one is born they're subject to the same mortal experience. They're men like any other.

The book of Mormon is not the Bible. We are not gods, we will not die and have our own planet.

I believe in the revelation from Joseph smith.. section 101. Of the doctrine and covenants.. the law of marriage , that one man should have one wife . As taught by Joseph while he was alive.. the law and revelation given to the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints.
sadly this truth was taken away by deceiving men.. and replaced with a lie..
I believe in Joseph and his teachings..

Where does it even talk about marriage in D&C 101?

Joseph was a liar. He had many many wives behind his wife s back. He lied and manipulated very young women. He concocted section 132 to manipulate Emma and to justify his immorality
He is a false prophet and if you did your research you d know this too. Read the gospel topic essays.
