It's great that you're aiming for a looser way of playing jazz standards, Jules! That's been one of my main goals too. Claire de lune is a wonderful piece and has influenced many jazz pianists with its impressionist harmonies. Have fun playing these tunes :)
LOL if I didn’t know any better, I’d have thought what you played at 2:11 was something by Messiaen! Amazing they were around at the same time occasionally doing some “not-so-different” things on other sides of the world. Fantastic video, thanks!

He had such an unbelievably smooth sound.
