preparation and ingredients
4 eggs.
300 grams of sugar.
Beat well until a fluffy foam forms.
350g flour.
2 teaspoons baking powder.
A pinch of salt.
Mix well.
Put 70 g butter in a saucepan.
240 ml milk.
2 teaspoons vanilla sugar (or 12 g vanilla).
Heat until the butter has melted and remove from the heat as soon as the first bubbles appear.
Pour half of the flour mixture into the egg mixture.
Mix with a mixer at minimum speed.
Pour in half of the hot milk.
Mix well with a mixer.
Pour out the remaining flour.
Mix well.
Pour out the remaining milk.
Mix well.
Line a 32 x 20 cm casserole dish with baking paper.
Pour the batter into a casserole dish.
Add any jam of your choice (I used strawberry).
Send it to a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 35-40 minutes.
Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool down well.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar if you like.
