I was here, all those years ago! The excitement and gratitude was written all over James' face at the end when he went to greet his fans, it was a vibe, I could feel it! He and the band worked so hard and they deserve every success they had and continue to have now in 2024. I bought tickets for their Southampton show yesterday at 10am when they went on sale....just checked again and SOLD OUT!! Love it!!! Such an underrated band, but they are really taking the glory now - well done lads! See you in November!
Love Starsailor. Saw them at probably the smallest open air concert ever at Kent Museum of Life in 2017. They were fantastic. Brilliant songwriting and James's voice is unique.
Just met James 5 minutes ago really Nice guy he was walking through Anfield at 11.30at night with a guitar on his back, stopped for a quick chat. Just seen him couple of hours earlier playing acoustic at small venue down the road, great show and really nice guy.
One thing you can never take away from this band is his voice - quite possibly one of the best voices in modern rock/indie bands.
His melofies are so simple, but his voice just sounds so good.

I didn't know much about Starsailor until I heard Alcoholic on an Indie compilation album, I knew I had to hear more of their songs
