Disneyland Paris - Alice´s Curious Labyrinth - French Character Voices Soundtrack

This clip features all character vocals and sound FX you can hear in the walkthrough attraction at Disneyland Paris. After entering the labyrinth through a gloomy tunnel with eerie soundtrack, guests encounter the Cheshire Cat and other creatures at Tulgey wood. At a popular photo-spot the smoking caterpillar is talking to the visitors. The Queen of Hearts and various guards await guests who dare to go deeper into the maze.
The music in this attraction shows that sometimes it's more effective to completely re-record material instead of using existing tracks. The original soundtrack for the animated feature "Alice in Wonderland" changes tempo and mood quite fast. This fits the film but makes it hard to create background loops that stay true to a certain mood for more than few seconds.
Film composer John Debney arranged this music (partly for the revamped Alice ride in California) using the original tunes and drawing inspiration from the movie orchestration. This solution also solved another problem: Back in the 1950s Disney didn't archive the original music-only tracks from the orchestra recording session - only the mixes with sound fx were stored.
