McHales moves in the low post, and his opponents efforts to try to contain him, were a big part of what made the '80 NBA so damned entertaining, and is totally missing in today's NBA.
To me McHale is the greatest power forward ever. Just as good at both ends of the floor as Duncan. Better defensively than Barkley. Better offensively than Malone, much better shot blocker. Suffice to say he was a better all around player then any of thrm. Garnett, Dirk, Rodman. McHale is criminally underrated. Barkley routinely said hes the best player he played against. Majic said he was thier toughest matchup. Before the wheels came off. Was the best.
Loves me some Kevin McHale aka, "Herman Munster" and "The Black Hole", but you gotsta lose those tragic edited sound effects of the swish through the net that isn't timed correctly! C'mon y'all! Those were awfully bad. Some of them swished before the ball passed the rim! 😂
