They're perfect for older new riders. The fit 22 got me off the couch and riding at least 4 days a week.

5’11” 44 year old here. Bought one and was a game changer. Felt right at home after buying it.

I"m 5'10 with shorter legs and I love my Fit 22. But its a bit long riding the bowl/skatepark. I use it to cruise around with my kid and we go to the skatepark almost every day. Its like a stretched limo of a bmx. Would be really perfect for the really tall folks.
      Its smooth, fast, and comfy.

Also have short legs and feel it’s slightly stretched. But I grew up riding longer bikes so it feels good to me. Have only ridden a small bowl, I’m sure it could be improved for myself but don’t have time to figure out what I need.

I have the GT Fueler 22 and I've never felt so comfortable on a bike before. Even the bikes with a 21" top tube felt too small for me. These 22's have all around bigger geometry, 5" head tube, longer top tubes, taller stand over, ect... And the best part is they still have that bmx feel unlike the 24", 26", 29" cruiser's. Im very happy with mine.

I had a sobrosa 22 and is was nice around town but that was about it, I still prefer a 20”. If I just want to cruise I want a 26” or bigger

i remember seeing ads for the Faction 22" bike in the early to mid 2000's in issues of Ride UK. Took a while to come to the states though.

I think Faction was the first company to roll out the 22".

Faction? ..Maybe like 15 years ago I saw that Faction had 22" bmx bikes. I wanted one so bad because I had read somewhere that a 22" bmx bike, in theory, had perfect geometry. 🤷🏻‍♂ ..was never able to get one in the states here tho. The 22" fit looks smooth af

Yea, faction BMX had them 1st I think.
And jim c was riding that freestyle cruiser before he was let go from Sunday.
Oh yea, you can be in NW and have a grape 🍇 bike. You'll be made fun of for sure.
But if you're an old dude or dad, who cares what the kids or Gen X say.
