This is a beginner friendly project that takes a couple of hours to make. I would really recommend using a bust pad/form in your size for extra support in your sports bra.
I really enjoy your work. Which thread should I use for it not to tear and do I minus 1" from the total waistband measurement? I am excited to try this immediately. Splendid work as always
I just finished making this bra and id like to add that if you have a larger bustline, you would have to take more away from your side seems for the bra to hold down your boops properly..... Also youll have to raise the front neckline abit higher ( dont use her measurments you wont have enough fabric to for your boobs to fit 😂😂😂) i made mine alittle longer so it can hold down amd cover my back fat buuuutttt do what works for u... I also used a different frabic for my neckline and armwhole (for a little structure) and i didnt use any bust pads my boops ate big enough so i just cut the lining and outter piece the same ...
Wow, I love the cut and also I am obsessed with the colors and patterns of this piece!! Also, I am a complete beginner and I really appreciate the details in this video, thank you :-)
That is so pretty .. love watching your tutorials new subscriber ❤.. novice sewer I just bought my first sewing machine thanks to great channels like yours .. you give great instructions.. ty for your great videos ❤
I was just looking these up on how to make one and I seen some ok tutorials but I wanted to challenge myself and get better at pattern making like this so happy you made this.
So lovely 🥰...and you made this exactly when I'm about to go register at the gym, now I'm gonna save my money and make them myself... please make the leggings too so I won't need to buy any of them, I must look fit for my birthday photoshoot...Thanks Kim🥰😘
Hi Kim dave, did you minus 1" from the total waist band measurement and what type of thread should I use? The regular cotton thread is breaking when I used it with the stretch fabric. I dont want to spoil my fabric. Thank you
I was able to get away with cutting the binding like this because the fabric has 2 way stretch. If the fabric only stretched in one direction, I'd cut it on the bias for added stetch.
She said it should be made with knit fabric that can stretch as you put it over your head, then return to its normal size to fit you well. Hope this helps you.
Ok wait, how did you sew the neckline with a straight stitch on a regular sewing machine with THIS strechty fabric?! I have been breaking threads so often and I don't like the look of the lighting stitch or this weird three straight stitch setting ... This sports bra looks so comfy!!
I usually take one inch off the measurements if the fabric is stretchy. If you try if on and it’s still loose, you can take away more through the seams
Hi, something that I wanna do but …. Help! In the 80s we had bathing suits ( bottoms) that went high over our hips . I know u r probably laughing thinking so easy but HOW do u know how high u should make the side straps and how narrow . They were like a V . Thing is how did they Make all these bottoms that were basically one size ? Meaning if u wore a size 7 then the bottoms fit everyone . It’s hard to write to you what I mean but do u think u could try ? Also I have very large breast and I can never find a size that fits . 36- HHH OR I?! They always hurt my neck too 😢!

Thank you
I kept the waist band same width as top hem width. Hope that helps
Hie wanted to ask l noticed your binding wasn't cut on bias does this apply to all strech fabrics when wanting to bind should they be vut like you did
I was able to get away with cutting the binding like this because the fabric has 2 way stretch. If the fabric only stretched in one direction, I'd cut it on the bias for added stetch.
What is the best way to keep the padding from sliding around. Every padded bra I have bought they ride up too high. So I end up just removing them.
You can hand stitch the edges to the lining of your sports bra
Can we make it from any material like American crepe or satin or cotton?
She said it should be made with knit fabric that can stretch as you put it over your head, then return to its normal size to fit you well. Hope this helps you.

This sports bra looks so comfy!!
Its either you're using the wrong needle or your tension is wrong... I've sewn straight st on stretchy fabric with no problem
@@nalisajackson547please wat is the best tension to use
Thank you so much. But please can you in any way teach us how to make the pads so that those of us who doesn't have breast can formulate our size😅
❤❤
HOW DO YOU TAKE MEASUREMENTS ON A STRETCHY FABRIC....HOW MANY INCHES DO YOU HAVE TO TAKE OUT TO GET IT FITTED?
I usually take one inch off the measurements if the fabric is stretchy. If you try if on and it’s still loose, you can take away more through the seams
My dear, please do a plus size version
Can we make it without the cup bra
Yes you can

I think I know what you mean. Did the bottoms look like briefs? And covered more of the lady area?
Tri cut, no idea how they were made to fit so universally, probably made to fit very snug
Thanks a lot for this so beautiful can we have the leggings tutorial 😍😍
Will upload soon
Nice! Would like to see a legging pattern very much!
Coming soon!
Girl did u teach yourself or did u go to school? I just found u . ❤
I went to fashion school but learnt a lot at internships & from other designers online (E.g. UA-cam and Pinterest)
