@@samdherring oh the elder scrolls are full of exploits. You want conjuring and alteration to 100 in about 30 minutes? Acquire soul trap and telekinesis. Enchant gear to 100%+ spell reduction in either or both of those schools and hit the mage standing stone(if you have Dawnguard and have access to the aetherium crown, hit the lover stone too) on your way to Hamvir's rest, have a quick nap in a bed you own/rent just before you leave and then kill the draugr and 2 of the skeletons, ideally the archer and one handed warrior, then spam with soul trap. Conjuring 100 in 30 minutes or less. If you have Dragon Born and the secret of arcana power ahead of time that will cover you for alteration, otherwise enchant gear for alteration, simply pick up a random item while walking backwards into a wall, again less than 30 minutes to max it out. This works with Special Edition fully updated and even with the unofficial patch mod, so it should work for you too.
Finally someone put the whole thing into context instead of doing just one section of it and not explaining that seconds matter and why we are doing it in the first place.
I love the speech glitch part... you made a terrible deal and sold a potion for a $49M loss and the game says "you're a genius, best business man ever" and jumps you to lv100 instantly haha
I also got stuck at 84%/95% using 2/5 Alchemist perks, getting it to 3/5 obviously worked but thanks for showing you could also just not take one item off haha didn't know that. Keep up the great videos!
With the resto boost, you can cut back on a load of perks being wasted on things like alchemy, enchanting and smithing, and allow you to broaden your character far more with perks on far more interesting things. It really opens up the game, BUT don't make yourself very unkilllable as the game becomes pointless rapidly.
This does still work. It took me a few times but after I got two parts of my enchanted gear up to 14% and the other two parts were at 8% it worked but speed was the thing that I think was also holding me back. Thank you MrBlogHater for the amazing guide.

I have recently started playing Skyrim for the first time and my build is warrior so I haven’t learned much about the alchemy and enchanting yet. Ok Update as of January of 2021 for XBOX users especially. This glitch still works! I’m playing Special Edition of the game! Thanks for this! Also I didn’t have to uninstall any updates. And just to make sure please turn off any mods your currently using and make sure your alchemy level is at least level 40 and have potion making gear as well it will help.
I got my sneak glitch up to 100. In white run by sneaking useing the invisibility spell and sneaking past everyone in white run by being invisible and my sneak went to 100 it worked for me and that's what I did
For me, it didn't work the first time. I got stuck at 85/89%. After I came back with a lot more materials, it finally started. BEWARE: it might take a while to build up in the beginning. For me, it took a while just to get to 800%. Just a tip to anyone who tries this. Be patient with the process. Also, you should make an enchanting potion to enchant a necklace with the op fortify alchemy. Saves having to use fortify restoration again, tho I'm sure many of you have already thought this through
For leveling Sneak: just use a one hander (not bound sword) and sneak attack your fire attronach summon over and over, 20 min. Leveling block, light and heavy armor: Make potion on video, then use it to make enchant to do beast smith, then upgrade a iron dagger. Then with same alchemy gear you make fortify block pot, fortify health, and health regen. Give dagger to guard and take all weapons away. Autosave, attack guard and block his attack for instant block level and if you survive few hits u instant 100 each armor type. Armor levels easier if you get fortify light and heavy pots too. Make sure you wear at least one of each type of armor of course. After you get level to 100 just run away out of town (autosave right away).
You'd only get a 25 or 40 gold bounty if you've hit the guard ONCE. The blocking won't increase the bounty, so no need to run away out of town. Just 'sheath' weapons and they should start surrender dialogue with you. Pay off a v small bounty, huge increase in abilities, happy days
Btw, should really do this sort of crap with a bandit / bandits. No bounty then, and you can end the session just by killing them, unlike the guards who may not accept the 'yield' so quickly; why? Because they are the biggest dck heads under the sun in Skyrim.
Actually! Thing with Helen glitch! You can do it right at the start before open the locked door to proceed with the story. I picked Ralof (but I end up choosing the imperials anyway lol) and then when the two guards come, I make sure to grab the key first before Ralof grabs it. Because that way, he can't open the gate until I do. So then once I have the key I get a dagger and then hit him against the wall. I also increase the difficulty to Legendary as that way his health doesn't drain so easily while I'm hitting him. Then I hit him until I level up, put one perk point into Sneak and then I spend 3 real life days leveling up to 104! I don't go into the level up screen until it says sneak is 100, then I go to the Level up screen and increase whatever I choose 3 or 4 times, then I reset sneak from 100 back down to 15 and start again. I just keep making Sneak Legendary so my current Playthrough, my stealth is like 28 legendary rank. So I walk out of helgen at level 104. :D Oh and with doing it this way, you don't need to only hit him three times, with the legendary difficulty, lol, you can hit him as long as you'd like using the iron dagger while in sneak, it literally won't go down (just make sure you don't put any perk points into one handed).
Use the alchemy gear boosted with resto pot to make health boost and regen and light/heavy pot and block pot. Use 1 smith enchant piece to upgrade iron dagger big. Give to a guard and let him hit u and block one hit (instant 100 on each block then heavy/light if u live).
To recap: Do Helgen sneak trick Loot hidden chests, disenchant Al items Faendal archery leveling Level Alchemy Father ingredients, salt, spadetail longfin, blue butterfly, snowberries Remove all potions Fortify Alchemy gear x4 Make restoration potion Take Alchemy gear off Put Alchemy gear on Make potion If numbers get stuck, remove 1 Alchemy piece Rinse, repeat

I have being trying this for the past few days. My head is scrambled. This afternoon I've managed to get potions upto 63%. But the restoration glitch doesn't seem to work. Xbox one, updated but not using the unofficial patch.
Never fear. sometimes the game just gets stuck. 1st: make sure you have 4 items equipped. Also make sure you have the 4 requirements in Alchemy. 2nd: To help speed it up you can use her has a trainer and get 3/5 on Alchemy, 3rd sometime the game gets stuck so when you drink the potion and take all your items off try only putting 3 back on. Then the next go round you can put all 4 back on. 4th: If nothing else works get your potions as high as you can and then make Fort. Enchanting potions(at least 4). Then drink a potion before make a new fort. Alchemy item that will give it a higher level than the one you are currently using. Let me know how it goes.
Me too!! Practically though, it's a great visual aid to REMIND you that you don't have your proper combat armor on. I do the same with smithing, using gauntlets which I would never use for exploring and combat. That way you know straight away that you've the wrong ones still on, outside the city walls!
When you made strong fortify enchantment potions and you want to make a ring with xxxx amount carry weight,. Do I have to wear the fortify alchemy clothing too to make the powerful ring? Or is it enough to drink the potion and then make a ring? Or do I first have to make fortify smiting gear with the powerful potion and wear those to make the powerful carry weight ring? The restoration potion I can make and the fortify alchemy potion too but it's the actual crafting of the Fortify carry weight ring that I'm unsure. Your next video is too fast for me to see what you actually do cause you have speed it up a lot 😟 Help please 🥺
OK so you need a strong Fort. Enchanting potion and drink that right before you make the ring. Having an item Fort. Smithing is really only for armor or damage. Or if you want to get your Smithing to 100. Once you do the glitch and have your Fort. Alchemy level to where you like it just make a bunch of Fort. When I try to do this glitch to make a powerful enchanting fortify potion it will only go up to 15% power no matter how powerful the fortify restoration potion is
I’m on the switch on version 1.1.14.534571 and it stops at 41% and then goes down did they fix it? Or does it just not work on the switch? Please help I bought Skyrim just to do stuff like this
How high does it go. Even when you drink the Enchanting potion the % you see before making the item or weapon is still counting the Active Restoration effect you have. I would recommend making higher % Enchanting potions 10,000-100,000%. **Note** don't go super crazy with it or it will crash your game.
The glitch overlaps itself making the restorative power of whatever your potion is, multiply itself while in the glitch. So when you are making the potion, you are restoring the effect for every time you drink a potion. When you are are at the point where you like the % of your potion and stop the glitch, the potion keeps its value and effect.

I thought at first it didn't work. Got 5/5 alchemist, physician, benefactor and 5/5 enchantment Already. After disabling the patch it only took me 3 rounds to make a whopping 6-digit magnitude fortify smithing potion.

Just don't make the items so powerful. Once they get super powerful the game freaks out and turns it to a negative. Once it's there, It's there. Sell it and make a new one.
It'd also RUIN your game long before crashing it. We all play games that challenge us. This is because we have some innate need to evolve and grow. Anyway, if you take away the danger, the challenge, the game isn't a game anymore. It's just going through the motions - pointless and meaningless motions.

So i do have mods but currently off is there one i need on xbox? My max enchanting gets up to 24% which will give me 31% potions creation. But also i didnt add the restoration loop in. Only the alchemy and enchanting loop
I've still had issues with mods and the glitch even with all mods off they are still in the save. You'll see a (M) by your save indicating that, that save has mods on it.
Im trying this, but when my percentage hits 90 it starts dropping and the enchantment potion doesn't seem to make anything stronger. [im playing ps4 complete edition]
When Enchanting potions are that low they don't seem to show any noticeable increase. You need to try and do it faster. Also try upgrading your Alchemy Perks to give a little push.
It doesn't work well with enchantment thingies. But it works for other potions. Make some overpowered fortify smithing potions then improve your weapons/armors to some excessive damage levels. Just remember doing this while disabling the unofficial patch. After that you can enable the patch again. Your OP weapons/armors stay permanent.

It's a very good presentation on it alright to be fair. He's very clear, and doesn't leave anything out, or to the imagination, like a lot of uploaders.
You'd want at least 20 enchanting potions tbh. Collect ALL the blue butterfly wings outdoors during good weather that you can. Then go NORTH, off up the mountains, up to Windhelm or wherever and get a sht tonne of snowberries, because the resto potion will allow you to make a good amount of potions at the multiplied factor, BUT the enchanting potion will ONLY allow to you to enchant about 2 items max. You really do want to make an assortment of blacksmithing apparel for the different materials, plus make an 85% min. bartering necklace so that you cease asap the rape that is merchant exploitative parasitic culture on a fledgling Dragonborn. Get LOTS of blue butterfly wings and snowberries!
I literally cannot get it to work I have: 24% circlet 24% bracers 24% necklace 24% ring I have alchemy and enchanting 100 in attempts to make it work, I play the bass game on pc and it’s not connected to steam for obvious reasons. Everytime I make the potion and drink it nothing happens. All my gear stays the same, I’ve tried taking it off before drinking the potion, I’ve tried drinking it and then taking the equipment off but the % always stays at 24% and I can’t figure out why. Please. Help.
@@christianastya2675 So mods don't play well with glitches. You can try to only put back on 3 items after you drink your potion. Then put back on all 4 after the next potion.
Why does he use one fish and a salt pile, then a different fish and a salt pile? And sometimes both fish with a salt pile? That's the only part that wasn't explained.
You are going to have to start making a new potion and if the jump is way to large and goes OP you can take off different pieces of Fort. Alchemy gear before you craft the potion. You might end up just wearing a ring. Also the potions change depending on the soul gem you use. So if you need to at a lower % use a petty gem filled with petty. Don't forget to use the duplication glitch so you have enough Ingredients and soul gems.
I got my restoration glitch up so high that it's impossible to sell your potions you have to buy the whole inventory just to sell one of your potions speech is my favorite thing still not sure what the white run guards are saying when they say I have heard about you and your honeyed words don't think you can Borden with me like you do those damn shopkeepers I believe I can not because I'm Thane lol glitches are unreal one day I was going to buy some stuff from eorlund gray mane and it glitched so bad that he failed through the skyforge on the ground underneath it the whole skyforge just disappeared and there was my iron ingot that I accidentally dropped he almost didn't get out when you go in and out of a door 🚪 the glitch will disappeared and he fell underground and he almost didn't get out Lydia did the same thing we was doing smithing and the game glitch and there we went underground it's not fun to me but eventually we got out the glitches are unreal if you see a glitch yes you will fall into the ground are other people in the game we'll see what you are seeing even they get caught in the glitches as well my game glitches out a lot especially when you're not expecting it the shops will disappear from the game and will reappear and you can go underground normally I stay away from these glitches and I go in and come out and the glitches disappear and everything is back to normal then I continue to do my buying selling And trading stuff in white run I do enjoy my breezehome there alchemy smithing and enchanting are my favorite including speech love Skyrim and the distractions of everything in the game if you go in dragons reach plates on the table will start flying off and hit you one day a cup flew off and hit a white run guard in the face and he picked up the cup got to love the glitches in the game glitched out wonder what I will see next time
I've worked on this glitch way more times for the glitch to work here is what u need to do U need it to be around 1 million gold in enchanting.... it can't be over it cant more more..... that's how it works as far as I've seen

Yeah, I used this as well, but in limited ways. I can still get killed after 7 or 8 good belts from a guard, so that's just about where I want the danger level. The beauty of this though, is that you can do as absolutely much or as absolutely little as you want. I for one, cannot stand flashy armors. I think it's really for kids and childish egos, walking around in 'Daedric' or 'Glass', looks too pretentious for my liking. Not to mind that, you literally would 'gleam like fresh fallen snow, and clank like a kitchen sink'! So I took my favourite looking armor, leather, and pumped it up to 743 armor points. Now it's Daedric+, and my character is nicely understated, a bit like Aragorn's anonymous Ranger ploy if you will. Modest and practical. No way could I do this without the resto boost. Also, after getting sick shit of the biggest criminals in Skyrim - hold guards - killing all my favorite people, I went about fashioning the civillians 200+ damage weapons, and gave their clothes whopping levels of health. So they really can't die. I have effectively "Armed the town", a bit like a quest in LOTR War in the North, which really appealed to me at the time. A dragon just landed outside Riften the other day. He was greeted with firepower he never could have imagined and got ROYALLY fck'd!!! It was just soooo darn good to witness. No more dead lovely ordinary decent people there either due to dragon wrath. You should have seen Hofgrir giving him four whacks of his mighty Dwarven battle axe! The dragon's foundations were literally rocked with each blow. Then Hofgrir walked off like a boss! Soooo damn good to see. Have also armed my Kahjiit friends outside as some Stormcloaks with obnoxious attitudes told me to "get out of here", then attacked. Next time this happens there will be no Kahjiits on the verge of death, I can tell you, nor Synda and Draven either. All have OP bows, melee, clothes and shields. Took a lot of work (on the 360) but I was sick to death of bully a-hole guards and dragons killing my peeps. NONE of this would be possible (on console) without the resto loop. Think a video should be done on "Arming your favorite town"? Tell the channel!!!

Just start again and don't be too greedy. Keep it under the 500%ish, and try your new gears and potions out in the field, in real life. You will be amazed at the difference it will make to your game, but in a way that you can enjoy. Using potions and gear over the 1000% mark is just like putting the game difficulty down to 'Stupidly easy'. There isn't any point is there?? Where's the fun? Sure, go higher for some key things, but use them very sparingly. For the rest of the time, keep it low, but you will still get a massive overall boost on the game, a game that is RIDICULOUSLY choreful and tedious at the start to mid levels. Resto boost allows you to overcome this design flaw, but also do some really cool niche things in the future too.
Yes it is, BUT it will take several hundred of each of the ingredients, very fast controller speed by you and a lot of time. But it is possible. I've done it with only 2/5 Alchemist, it was not fun.
The Potion making works fine, as do the enchantments, but when I try to sell an op Potion to the vendor I don’t get the massive speech level up you got. Does it need to be the restoration potion I sell?
No it can be any OP spell. Just make sure it's the first and only thing you sell them. If they only have 4 coins left and you sell them a 200K potion it won't work well.
As August 7th, 2023 it still works on PS4, PS5, Special Edition and VR. This will never be patched because it was put there by the programmers when they released it back in 2011.
brian d No it’s not patched. The first thing to try to speed it up is upgrade your Alchemy Perk from 2/5 to 3/5. 2 is the minimum to make it work, the more you have the better result’s you’ll get. If this doesn’t work let me know. I have other ways to get it to work.
MrBlogHater like i said iv done this before i'm around a few millions if i go again it'll go into the negatives if i go 2 more times or 3 it'll revert to -1% potions my only issue is them numbers don't stick like i'm used to once i got these potions that was it i just had a thought while i was in the shower tho to get the fortify smithing added and then drink the potion and upgrade something if that would fix my problem i'll try it soon though not sure
MrBlogHater i was using restoration potion that's why the numbers dropped using enchanting potions worked so for enchanting u need a decant amount for enchanting and then u need smithing potions to max upgrades 🖖🏽 nice thanks for helping me remember
The idea that the creators intended this is crazy. It's a bug and an exploit, plain and simple. Same with the stealth glitch. Why haven't they fixed them? It likely is too deeply embedded.

I also think the game designers realised though, that a lot of adults play this game, want to play the game the way *they* want to play it, and not be treated like children. You buy the game for *fun*. Fun is personal, and whatever you do with the game that makes it *fun* for you, is your business. Too many game designers don't get this. Treyarch is an example, with zombies. They have to iron out bugs which were de facto 'Difficulty level' adjusters, in ways, for players - Treyarch's *customers*. Result? Many stopped buying their newer games, who would otherwise have bought them. These companies need to realise what it is that their customers want. There's nothing 'immoral' or 'wrong' about playing a game your way when you're not on a leaderboard and play the game on your own, in your own house, in your own time. A game that is on a leaderboard has a few cheats? Simply deactivate the leaderboard aspect for the player while they *choose* to play the game the way they want. Player gets a lot more fun, is happy, recommends the game and company, and more products are sold. Everyone happy

I know this a year later but you’re supposed to take the enchanted armor off first and then drink the potion and put the armor back on.

Oh and with doing it this way, you don't need to only hit him three times, with the legendary difficulty, lol, you can hit him as long as you'd like using the iron dagger while in sneak, it literally won't go down (just make sure you don't put any perk points into one handed).
Use the alchemy gear boosted with resto pot to make health boost and regen and light/heavy pot and block pot.
Use 1 smith enchant piece to upgrade iron dagger big.
Give to a guard and let him hit u and block one hit (instant 100 on each block then heavy/light if u live).

This alchemy loop is also the easiest way to power level by resetting alchemy once you've built your high level alchemy gear

If numbers get stuck, remove 1 Alchemy piece

I have being trying this for the past few days. My head is scrambled. This afternoon I've managed to get potions upto 63%. But the restoration glitch doesn't seem to work. Xbox one, updated but not using the unofficial patch.
Never fear. sometimes the game just gets stuck. 1st: make sure you have 4 items equipped. Also make sure you have the 4 requirements in Alchemy. 2nd: To help speed it up you can use her has a trainer and get 3/5 on Alchemy, 3rd sometime the game gets stuck so when you drink the potion and take all your items off try only putting 3 back on. Then the next go round you can put all 4 back on. 4th: If nothing else works get your potions as high as you can and then make Fort. Enchanting potions(at least 4). Then drink a potion before make a new fort. Alchemy item that will give it a higher level than the one you are currently using.

Practically though, it's a great visual aid to REMIND you that you don't have your proper combat armor on.
I do the same with smithing, using gauntlets which I would never use for exploring and combat. That way you know straight away that you've the wrong ones still on, outside the city walls!
When you made strong fortify enchantment potions and you want to make a ring with xxxx amount carry weight,. Do I have to wear the fortify alchemy clothing too to make the powerful ring? Or is it enough to drink the potion and then make a ring? Or do I first have to make fortify smiting gear with the powerful potion and wear those to make the powerful carry weight ring? The restoration potion I can make and the fortify alchemy potion too but it's the actual crafting of the Fortify carry weight ring that I'm unsure. Your next video is too fast for me to see what you actually do cause you have speed it up a lot 😟

OK so you need a strong Fort. Enchanting potion and drink that right before you make the ring. Having an item Fort. Smithing is really only for armor or damage. Or if you want to get your Smithing to 100. Once you do the glitch and have your Fort. Alchemy level to where you like it just make a bunch of Fort. Enchanting potions and drink one right before you make your new items. The 2020 video was just to show that is still works. Here's and older one at a slower pace.

When I try to do this glitch to make a powerful enchanting fortify potion it will only go up to 15% power no matter how powerful the fortify restoration potion is

I’m on the switch on version 1.1.14.534571 and it stops at 41% and then goes down did they fix it? Or does it just not work on the switch? Please help I bought Skyrim just to do stuff like this

My % will go high but when i use fortify of enchantment then i enchant an item but after a few secs the item i enchanted became 8%
How high does it go. Even when you drink the Enchanting potion the % you see before making the item or weapon is still counting the Active Restoration effect you have. I would recommend making higher % Enchanting potions 10,000-100,000%. **Note** don't go super crazy with it or it will crash your game.
How does fortify restoration increase the effectiveness of potions?
The glitch overlaps itself making the restorative power of whatever your potion is, multiply itself while in the glitch. So when you are making the potion, you are restoring the effect for every time you drink a potion. When you are are at the point where you like the % of your potion and stop the glitch, the potion keeps its value and effect.

I thought at first it didn't work. Got 5/5 alchemist, physician, benefactor and 5/5 enchantment Already. After disabling the patch it only took me 3 rounds to make a whopping 6-digit magnitude fortify smithing potion.

Weird, will not let me enchant my items with fortify alchemy. Have the enchantment, can't apply it to any rings, helms, circlets, pendants...
Once you get your Fort. Alchemy potions to a high eno9ugh level, you then make a Fort. Enchanting potion and drink it before making new items.

How do you get rid of the negative numbers?
Just don't make the items so powerful. Once they get super powerful the game freaks out and turns it to a negative. Once it's there, It's there. Sell it and make a new one.

It'd also RUIN your game long before crashing it. We all play games that challenge us. This is because we have some innate need to evolve and grow. Anyway, if you take away the danger, the challenge, the game isn't a game anymore. It's just going through the motions - pointless and meaningless motions.

Yes. Get rid of that unofficial patch, its trash. There's a reason it's unofficial, it causes more problems than it solves.

So i do have mods but currently off is there one i need on xbox? My max enchanting gets up to 24% which will give me 31% potions creation. But also i didnt add the restoration loop in. Only the alchemy and enchanting loop
I've still had issues with mods and the glitch even with all mods off they are still in the save. You'll see a (M) by your save indicating that, that save has mods on it.
Im trying this, but when my percentage hits 90 it starts dropping and the enchantment potion doesn't seem to make anything stronger. [im playing ps4 complete edition]
When Enchanting potions are that low they don't seem to show any noticeable increase. You need to try and do it faster. Also try upgrading your Alchemy Perks to give a little push.
It doesn't work well with enchantment thingies. But it works for other potions. Make some overpowered fortify smithing potions then improve your weapons/armors to some excessive damage levels. Just remember doing this while disabling the unofficial patch. After that you can enable the patch again. Your OP weapons/armors stay permanent.

You don't have to be in the guild. You can get the chests as soon as you start the game. It's actually preferred to help you start off.

It's a very good presentation on it alright to be fair. He's very clear, and doesn't leave anything out, or to the imagination, like a lot of uploaders.
You'd want at least 20 enchanting potions tbh. Collect ALL the blue butterfly wings outdoors during good weather that you can.
Then go NORTH, off up the mountains, up to Windhelm or wherever and get a sht tonne of snowberries, because the resto potion will allow you to make a good amount of potions at the multiplied factor, BUT the enchanting potion will ONLY allow to you to enchant about 2 items max.
You really do want to make an assortment of blacksmithing apparel for the different materials, plus make an 85% min. bartering necklace so that you cease asap the rape that is merchant exploitative parasitic culture on a fledgling Dragonborn.
Get LOTS of blue butterfly wings and snowberries!

24% circlet
24% bracers
24% necklace
24% ring
I have alchemy and enchanting 100 in attempts to make it work, I play the bass game on pc and it’s not connected to steam for obvious reasons.
Everytime I make the potion and drink it nothing happens. All my gear stays the same, I’ve tried taking it off before drinking the potion, I’ve tried drinking it and then taking the equipment off but the % always stays at 24% and I can’t figure out why. Please. Help.
Also I have all the necessary perks and with all points in them

@@christianastya2675 So mods don't play well with glitches. You can try to only put back on 3 items after you drink your potion. Then put back on all 4 after the next potion.

You are going to have to start making a new potion and if the jump is way to large and goes OP you can take off different pieces of Fort. Alchemy gear before you craft the potion. You might end up just wearing a ring. Also the potions change depending on the soul gem you use. So if you need to at a lower % use a petty gem filled with petty. Don't forget to use the duplication glitch so you have enough Ingredients and soul gems.

Yeah, I used this as well, but in limited ways. I can still get killed after 7 or 8 good belts from a guard, so that's just about where I want the danger level.
The beauty of this though, is that you can do as absolutely much or as absolutely little as you want.
I for one, cannot stand flashy armors. I think it's really for kids and childish egos, walking around in 'Daedric' or 'Glass', looks too pretentious for my liking. Not to mind that, you literally would 'gleam like fresh fallen snow, and clank like a kitchen sink'!
So I took my favourite looking armor, leather, and pumped it up to 743 armor points. Now it's Daedric+, and my character is nicely understated, a bit like Aragorn's anonymous Ranger ploy if you will. Modest and practical.
No way could I do this without the resto boost.
Also, after getting sick shit of the biggest criminals in Skyrim - hold guards - killing all my favorite people, I went about fashioning the civillians 200+ damage weapons, and gave their clothes whopping levels of health. So they really can't die. I have effectively "Armed the town", a bit like a quest in LOTR War in the North, which really appealed to me at the time.
A dragon just landed outside Riften the other day. He was greeted with firepower he never could have imagined and got ROYALLY fck'd!!! It was just soooo darn good to witness. No more dead lovely ordinary decent people there either due to dragon wrath. You should have seen Hofgrir giving him four whacks of his mighty Dwarven battle axe! The dragon's foundations were literally rocked with each blow. Then Hofgrir walked off like a boss! Soooo damn good to see.
Have also armed my Kahjiit friends outside as some Stormcloaks with obnoxious attitudes told me to "get out of here", then attacked. Next time this happens there will be no Kahjiits on the verge of death, I can tell you, nor Synda and Draven either. All have OP bows, melee, clothes and shields. Took a lot of work (on the 360) but I was sick to death of bully a-hole guards and dragons killing my peeps.
NONE of this would be possible (on console) without the resto loop.

Just start again and don't be too greedy. Keep it under the 500%ish, and try your new gears and potions out in the field, in real life. You will be amazed at the difference it will make to your game, but in a way that you can enjoy. Using potions and gear over the 1000% mark is just like putting the game difficulty down to 'Stupidly easy'. There isn't any point is there?? Where's the fun?
Sure, go higher for some key things, but use them very sparingly. For the rest of the time, keep it low, but you will still get a massive overall boost on the game, a game that is RIDICULOUSLY choreful and tedious at the start to mid levels. Resto boost allows you to overcome this design flaw, but also do some really cool niche things in the future too.

Yes it is, BUT it will take several hundred of each of the ingredients, very fast controller speed by you and a lot of time. But it is possible. I've done it with only 2/5 Alchemist, it was not fun.

The Potion making works fine, as do the enchantments, but when I try to sell an op Potion to the vendor I don’t get the massive speech level up you got. Does it need to be the restoration potion I sell?
No it can be any OP spell. Just make sure it's the first and only thing you sell them. If they only have 4 coins left and you sell them a 200K potion it won't work well.

Yes you can be completely indestructible, plus it will help you get your perk trees to 100.
I would not recommend abusing the glitch anymore. it got patched and it fucks up your whole character ( in special edition )
As August 7th, 2023 it still works on PS4, PS5, Special Edition and VR. This will never be patched because it was put there by the programmers when they released it back in 2011.

it's 50/50. both mods and glitches are basically re-writing the games code. sometimes they fight.

brian d No it’s not patched. The first thing to try to speed it up is upgrade your Alchemy Perk from 2/5 to 3/5. 2 is the minimum to make it work, the more you have the better result’s you’ll get. If this doesn’t work let me know. I have other ways to get it to work.

MrBlogHater like i said iv done this before i'm around a few millions if i go again it'll go into the negatives if i go 2 more times or 3 it'll revert to -1% potions my only issue is them numbers don't stick like i'm used to once i got these potions that was it i just had a thought while i was in the shower tho to get the fortify smithing added and then drink the potion and upgrade something if that would fix my problem i'll try it soon though not sure
MrBlogHater i was using restoration potion that's why the numbers dropped using enchanting potions worked so for enchanting u need a decant amount for enchanting and then u need smithing potions to max upgrades 🖖🏽 nice thanks for helping me remember
The idea that the creators intended this is crazy. It's a bug and an exploit, plain and simple. Same with the stealth glitch. Why haven't they fixed them? It likely is too deeply embedded.
It's not a bug, it's an exploit. When it became to hard for some to do, they introduced mods being allowed to do the same or more.

I also think the game designers realised though, that a lot of adults play this game, want to play the game the way *they* want to play it, and not be treated like children. You buy the game for *fun*. Fun is personal, and whatever you do with the game that makes it *fun* for you, is your business. Too many game designers don't get this. Treyarch is an example, with zombies. They have to iron out bugs which were de facto 'Difficulty level' adjusters, in ways, for players - Treyarch's *customers*. Result? Many stopped buying their newer games, who would otherwise have bought them.
These companies need to realise what it is that their customers want. There's nothing 'immoral' or 'wrong' about playing a game your way when you're not on a leaderboard and play the game on your own, in your own house, in your own time.
A game that is on a leaderboard has a few cheats? Simply deactivate the leaderboard aspect for the player while they *choose* to play the game the way they want. Player gets a lot more fun, is happy, recommends the game and company, and more products are sold. Everyone happy
